I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! In the last two years, I have been a recurring sitter for a doodle, chow, chocolate lab, and other breeds. All dogs were through friends, referrals, and people in our building so not many reviews on here but I am sure I can send their numbers if referrals are needed. I just moved to Durham but looking to help dog sit here and hope can find some new favorite dogs to sit:)

Haley was great with our adolescent husky, who can be shy with strangers. She slowly and calmly earned his trust and handled him with confidence that says a lot about her experience and expertise with dogs. I highly recommend her.
Haley was quick to respond, asked questions and communicated regularly during Luna's stay with her. Luna got a lot of attention and cuddles. I would use her services again!
So thankful for Haley! My dog is a timid and anxious guy, has a few quirks about him and I can imagine might not be the easiest boarding dog, but I felt very comfortable having him stay with Haley. She sent picture updates and reassured me that he was doing well. Great privacy fenced backyard for playing. Would 100% book again 😀

Schedule
I work hybrid, so I can schedule any meetings around bathroom/dog park breaks. I have experience taking dogs on multiple 2+ mile walks a day if needed.

We have a couch cover, so happy for dogs to cuddle up on the couch! We have a fenced in back yard so can play together outside! Happy to have the dog sleep in the bedroom but prefer them off the bed if possible!
A typical day
Happy to go on long walks around the city or check out and fun dog parks near by. Happy to play with any and all toys!
