Care in Your Home: When caring for your pets in their own home, my primary focus is to maintain the familiar environment they are accustomed to while providing compassionate, high-quality care. Consistency & Routine: I will follow your pet’s usual daily routine, ensuring that they receive the same level of care they would if you were home. This includes keeping feeding times consistent, administering any medications, and providing any special care your pet may require. Exercise & Play: I will ensure your pet receives adequate exercise, whether that’s through walks, playtime, or outdoor activities. For energetic pets, I will make sure they get the physical activity they need to burn off excess energy, keeping them healthy and happy. Companionship & Attention: Some pets, particularly dogs and cats, thrive on companionship. I offer plenty of love, attention, and affection, whether through gentle petting, brushing, or just spending quality time together. I will ensure that your pet feels comforted and less stressed in your absence. Security & Comfort: While staying in your home, I respect your pet’s space and your home’s environment. I will make sure your home is secure, your pet is safe, and any special instructions (like keeping pets indoors or allowing access to specific areas) are followed. I love to get dogs active both mentally and physically. We will practice basic commands and get lots of treats, unless otherwise specified. Fun games outside will wear your pup out as well! I am an avid hiker so if you feel comfortable then I would love to take your pup(s) out for a day in nature on the trail. Otherwise, walks can be conducted near your home. I try to walk pets in a matter that they do not have too much energy upon returning, the length varies with your pet's abilities.
