Before I confirm walks or visits, I always request a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pet and to make sure you both like me (or at least will tolerate me when I show up by myself!). These initial visits are really important for me to make sure I'm a good fit and to better learn your routines with your pet. I'm very used to escape artists (our Raisin is one), so when I open front doors, I go toes-first to make sure your pet is not going to slip past me. Also, like many sitters, I'll treat your pets as if they were my own. If your pet is standoffish, I make sure to give them space and if I want to approach them, I'll calmly get down to their level and let them decide when they want to come to me. If they're the type to demand lots of attention, I'll give them that, too. Depending on what you prefer, I give lots of treats and play time with toys or just running around. I love taking pictures of pets and giving updates, so you'll be able to see how your pet is doing while you're away. With any luck, I like to snag some clear, portrait-style photos that you'll hopefully enjoy as much as I do!

I would like to know your pet's favorite toys and treats, as well as if they can ride in a car in case it makes it easier to get to a nearby park. I also want to know any important medical information and how well your pet gets along with other animals and about anything that might make them uncomfortable or upset. I accept very large dogs for drop-ins or house sitting, but we might have to determine during our meet-and-greet whether I am physically strong enough to handle them for a walk! *I may charge an additional $5 per visit for clients who are far from me to account for time and gas usage. Hi! 👋🏻 I have lived with and cared for many different pets my entire life, and they all hold very special places in my heart. When I was in 4th grade, I was in charge of raising my own puppy, so I learned quickly that care and training comes with a lot of patience and love. Over the years, I have helped raise and care for dogs, cats, parakeets, fish, and hermit crabs. This has taught me a lot of responsibility, and made me well-equipped to care for many kinds of pets. I am familiar with giving some medications to sick and/or senior cats and dogs--mostly with treat-wrapped pills but also with topical medications. I know how to give and reward for basic commands, and, as an athlete, I love being able to run with energetic dogs. I also harness-trained our cat, Raisin Jr., so I am able to walk your cat or even help with harness training! I will accept "aggressive" breeds--we can discuss this more before booking! For fuller houses, I also offer a multi-pet discount--after the first 2 pets, I charge $2 per additional pet. I'll modify the charges when booking to reflect the discount.

Haley did such a great job taking care of my senior kitty!!! She paid a lot of attention to detail with his medicine and made sure he got exactly what he needed! Will absolutely book with Haley in the future
Haley is such a great cat sitter, returning to help watch our indoor/outdoor cats. She cleaned the litter boxes, brought in some mail/packages and kept us updated with photos and summaries of which ones were here and which ones were not. Thank you again for all your assistance and taking good care of our little ones!
