Pet care experience
I have been around animals since the day I was born. I grew up caring for and having both dogs and cats. Since the day I could remember I have had a special connection with dogs and a passion to love and care for them. Our pets are our best friends, and they deserved to be treated as nothing less. I am 100 percent a dog person & fully understand the responsibility of caring for a pet. Prior to signing up on Rover, I have watched dogs for numerous families here in town. I have experience with puppies, old dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs with special diets. Additionally, I am very attentive to your dogs health. I know it can be stressful for a pet when their owners are away, so I make sure to pay attention to behavior, eating habits, and personality changes. I have doggie sat small dogs, medium sized dogs, and large dogs. The breeds I have experience with are pit bulls (my favorite they are SO CUTE), golden retrievers, black labs, german shepherds boxers, chihuahuas, and mixes.

Haley has been a trusted dog sitter for our German Shepherd/Great Dane mix for two years. Rizzo loves Haley and so do we! Haley is reliable, loving, responsible and trustworthy. We travel frequently and we know we can count on Haley as an outstanding caregiver for our boy when we are away. She gives us frequent updates, asks questions when she is unsure about something and gives Rizzo all the love and attention he needs while we are away.
Haley loves dogs and does a great job playing with them and getting them exercise! She's watched both of our large black labs on more than one occasion and sends Snap Chats, pictures, and even FaceTimed with us so we could see our dog while we were out of town at our wedding, since we couldn't bring him with (we're those people, yes).
Haley is a wonderful, reliable, attentive, and loving dog caregiving. With a service like Rover, it's hard sometimes to trust someone who doesn't know your pets needs like an owner (who has known the pet the majority of their lives). What I liked most about Haley is how inquisitive she was so that she could gain as much knowledge from us about our pups ahead of time. Her ability to inquire for knowledge coupled with her natural caregiver ways with our pups made for a wonderful, satisfying, and trusting experience. Thank you Haley! Haley has a huge heart when it comes to animals, especially dogs! Dogs have been with her, her entire life. Haley has quite a bit of experience caring for dogs! She has lived in house with dogs while their humans are away. She has watched dogs at home. But her best friend/dog is her family dog!! She is very aware of the needs of the dogs in her life & takes great care of them!

Before walking or sitting your pet I want to be informed of your routine with your pet. I think it is important to respect how the owner takes care of their pet. At what times do you feed your dog? How much food do they eat each time? Any special needs (whether that be with food, health care, limitations, etc)? How do you exercise your pet? Does your pet get into anything in the house? When do you give your pet treats? How much is your pet trained? What tricks can your pet do? Is your pet dog aggressive, human aggressive, or get agitated by other animals? My favorite breeds of dogs are pit bulls, golden retrievers, labs, and terriers, although I love all dogs!
A typical day
Walks are the name of the game!! I love taking a dog on a walk. It is important for dogs to exert energy so they can stay healthy and happy! Plus, I am a very active person so I love to go on walks myself! It's even better to go on walks when you have a cute doggie with you!! Your doggie will receive lots of love, cuddles, belly rubs, exercise, and will probably learn everything about me (I like to talk to dogs so they feel comfortable with me).
