Our routine is relaxed and flexible. As a homeschooling family we are able to “go with the flow” and structure our days however we need to accommodate your pets expected schedule!

In addition to carefully following owner provided instructions, I have a few rules of my own to ensure the safety of the pets in my care: •I am very cautious when entering and exiting homes to prevent any runaway attempts. •I always lock all doors when leaving. •I make sure trash, cleaning supplies, etc., are stored out-of-reach. •I monitor physical appearance, behavior patterns, and elimination quality (poop and pee) for anything out of the ordinary, and will notify you if anything changes. •I will not feed your pet anything you have not provided or authorized. •I keep an eye on your property-bringing in packages, notifying you in the event of storm damage, lost power, leaking faucets, etc.

Please let me know your pets schedule, feeding directions, any medical needs ahead of time. Please also let me know of any aversions or fears, or any other concerns you may have about your pet while you are away.
A typical day
Depending on the personality and energy level of your pet, we will do a variety of activities! Upon arrival I’ll give you pet a few minutes to get used to my presence (some take longer than others). For dogs, we will then go straight outside to potty. I’ll keep track of what and how often they “go.” Weather permitting, we’ll do that as long as they want. Fetch, tug-o-war, or just running around, we’re down for whatever! Back inside I’ll make sure they eat and drink. If they like to play food games we can do that as well! For cats, I will clean the litter box every time I see it’s been used; **please provide appropriate scooper and disposal tools.** We will play any way your kitty likes, or if they are more secluded I will still be present for the whole drop-in window just to provide them with some company. If you think they like music or being read to, etc., I am comfortable doing that as well!

Pet care experience
I have been around animals my entire life. From hamsters to horses, I’ve seen them all! I particularly love to sit dogs because it gives me an outlet to play with other pups, and I truly understand how liberating it is to find a competent pet sitter who you can trust while you’re away! I am experienced with elderly pets as well, and am comfortable giving medication/accommodating needs as necessary. **If injections are needed, a meet-and-greet before hand will be required to discuss details. I have two children who have been raised around animals and are fantastic, responsible play mates-more than happy to be on the front lines of caring for and playing with your pet! As a homeschooling family, my children may accompany me on visits depending on our schedule. They are respectful of your space and all of our new furry friends have loved the extra attention! Please let me know in advance of any aversions your pet may have (for example, one of my dogs dislikes people being close to his face). This information is important to ensure the safety and comfort of the visit for everyone so please share! I enjoy sending photo updates throughout the booking-everybody loves to see their buddies having a great time! If you have trouble making the booking, please don’t hesitate to reach out and I will help! **Meet & Greet Info** A meet and greet is a chance for your dog or cat and I to meet and see if we will be a good match; a good sniff goes a long way before staying with a new person! It also gives us a chance to discuss in-person extra details about the visits, your pets personality, and to share any questions or concerns that may arise. I am available for meet and greets most Saturdays from 9am-6pm and Sundays from 1pm-6pm. We can meet in your home or in public if preferred. I do not hold meet & greets in my home. I will not take communication off of Rover or share my personal number. **Drop-In Schedule** I currently offer drop in services from 7am-8:30pm (up to 3 visits a day). Please note Drop-Ins are scheduled with a +/- 30 minute window on either side. I am NOT available for Drop-Ins past 9pm.

Haley has been our dog sitter for over 3 years now and we wouldn’t have anyone else take care of our dog. Her and her kids are wonderful caring dog sitters and we have never had any issues ever!!!!!
