My schedule changes from week to week. I work a remote job and make my own schedule, so it is easy to fit pet care into my daily routine and be flexible. I also travel frequently and love doing housesits or walks while I’m away from home.

A typical day
I enjoy taking scenic walks and going on short hikes. I love to take dogs along for car rides when I am running errands (if they are comfortable in the car.) I'm also totally happy cuddling and sleeping in the bed with them :)

Pet care experience
I've owned and taken care of dogs my whole life :) Growing up I mostly had Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Labradors, and other mixed breeds. I spent my summers in high school volunteering at an animal shelter that housed both dogs and cats. I also have experience with farm animals such as chickens and horses. I have even taken care of a pet squirrel, a pet snake, a tortoise, bearded dragons, bunnies, birds, and llamas. I am comfortable administering medication if needed and have injected fluids and given insulin and B12 shots to dogs and cats. I am also a professional animal trainer and have experience training puppies and adult dogs on general obedience, walking on a leash, etc., and I have worked with dogs who have a history of aggressive or destructive behaviors.

Haley is great! She cared for our dog, Lucy, for 12 days while we were on vacation. She was respectful of our home and a great communicator. She sent us frequent updates and let us know if she noticed Lucy acting out of the norm.
