Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I already have hands-on experience working with dogs in a structured environment. I’m used to maintaining consistent schedules for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I carry that same level of reliability into my Rover services. I plan my day around the pets in my care to make sure they get the attention, exercise, and supervision they need. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening visits, I stay organized and make sure each pet’s routine is followed closely. Throughout the week, I keep my schedule flexible so I can accommodate different needs, including drop-ins, walks, and last-minute requests when possible. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it’s not something I try to “fit in”—it’s something I prioritize and build my routine around. I also make sure to allow time for updates, photos, and communication so owners always feel informed and comfortable.

I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment. I only take a small number of pets at once so I can give each dog my full attention. While I do have a large yard, it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is fully supervised and on-leash for safety. I also use secure harnesses and long leads to allow safe exploration. Pets are never left unattended outside, and I carefully manage all doors and transitions to prevent any chance of escape. In a client’s home, I stick closely to the pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I’m very respectful of each home and always make sure everything is left clean and exactly how I found it. With my experience working in a pet resort and animal shelter, I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to behavior and body language to ensure a safe and positive experience. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands while you’re away.

I also ask about any behavioral tendencies, such as if they are shy, anxious, reactive, or have any triggers I should be aware of. It’s also important for me to know about any medical needs, allergies, medications, or special care instructions. I always want to be fully prepared to handle their needs safely and correctly. I also ask about how they interact with other dogs, people, and new environments, as well as their leash behavior and recall. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, structured, and positive experience for your pet.I’m always happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for both you and your pet.
