Hey there! I'm Hatch/Hal. I currently work at a non-profit shelter and have been in the dog handling business for about ten years now. I'm more comfortable with dogs than I am with people at this point! I'm here looking for a way to make a little extra cash and meet a lot of new pups while I'm at it. * I understand that all pups require handling based on their own unique personalities. * I'm well-versed in reading dog body language. * I have extensive experience with feeding, medicating, and using a variety of crazy harnesses, gentle-leaders, collars, etc. * I'm a very laid-back individual, more than willing to do what I can go accommodate you and yours pup's needs. I'm looking forward to meeting all your furbabies!!!

There are few people in this world that I would trust my Genji (basenji/lab) with, and Hatch is without a doubt one of them. Having a dog that doesn’t show much affection to people besides me, it puts a big smile on my face seeing my dog run up to Hal wiggling and happy every time he sees him! Not only is he very reliable, trustworthy and down to earth, he also comes with both experience and knowledge on dog behavior which is such a plus! Trust me, your dog(s) will love him.
Hatch is my dog's trusted godparent! Having known him for four years and worked with him myself, I can easily attest that he knows exactly what he is doing and will care for any dog as if it's his own. Always closely attuned to each dog's needs and personality, he has that natural knack for canine body language that every pup's professional caretaker should have. You can tell that dogs really are his whole heart.
Hal is a very loving dog handler. With lots of care and patience they have given multiple dogs the attention they need and above more. A very trustworthy and dedicated worker, one would be lucky to have obtain his services.

I like to get to know dogs personally, so a typical day would depend on the dog. Some dogs like laying around and getting pets, while others would like to go outside and play fetch for hours.

I have a very flexible schedule right now, and only working 16 hours a week. Most of my time is focused on personal creative efforts, and I'm looking to do this more full-time.
