When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment for the animal. I understand that pets feel most secure in their own space, so I do my best to keep their routine consistent and minimize stress while their owners are away. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, medications, crate time, and any house rules specific to the pet. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secured at all times to prevent escapes, and I supervise pets closely during all interactions. If a pet needs space, I respect that and allow them time to adjust to my presence without pressure. Cleanliness is also a priority — I keep feeding areas, water bowls, and any messes clean, and make sure litter boxes or potty areas are maintained properly. I also ensure the home is left just as I found it, with respect for both the pet and the owner’s space.

I like to learn about their feeding schedule, favorite activities, energy level, bathroom routine, medications, allergies, fears, and how they interact with new people. Which is why I love meet and greets! Knowing what makes your dog feel comfortable helps me provide the best care possible and keeps their routine consistent while you’re away. I also appreciate knowing any commands, habits, or behaviors that are important so I can make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and understood at all times.
A typical day
A day with me is all about making sure your dogs feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Their day would include potty breaks, walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and lots of attention and affection. Whether your dog loves being active and playing outside or prefers relaxing and cuddling, I adjust to their personality and needs. I also make sure they get plenty of supervision, exercise, and companionship throughout the day so they never feel lonely or stressed. If medications or special care are needed, I’m comfortable handling that as well thanks to my experience as a kennel technician. My goal is always to create a safe, fun, and calm environment where your dogs feel happy and cared for while you’re away.

I’ve always had a deep love for animals and have spent my whole life caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From bottle-feeding kittens and caring for puppies to helping senior dogs feel comfortable and supported, working with animals has always come naturally to me. I truly believe every pet deserves patience, love, and individualized care, and I enjoy building trust with each animal I meet. I currently work part-time as a kennel technician, which has given me hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets in a professional setting. Through this job, I’ve become comfortable with administering medications, following feeding schedules, cleaning and sanitizing spaces, monitoring animal behavior, and making sure pets stay safe, healthy, and happy while away from their owners. She is absolutely amazing with my dogs and cat. My dogs have stranger danger and are iffy with new people. She was more than willing to accommodate them !Very patient with them getting to know her and never rushed them. Also gave medication to my cat which is not easy lol. Overall an amazing girl, very good at communication, and always willing to help!
