Haili lives in my neighborhood, and we take turns occasionally looking in on each other’s dogs. She will literally drop what she’s doing if I need her last-minute. My dogs love her I swear they get more excited to see her than me. She does all the basics, feeding, playing, just hanging out so they are not alone, and walking. I’m truly grateful to have her as a neighbor and friend, knowing she is near my two fur babies when I am away.

I left my bearded dragon, Percy, with Haili for almost an entire year while I traveled around the country, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of her. She kept me updated on everything, especially when Percy was getting low on insects or greens. She even suggested a few new greens for Percy to try, which I appreciated because it showed she was really paying attention to her care and not just doing the bare minimum. One thing I really appreciated was that she would always reach out if she had a question, even if she thought it was silly or obvious. I’d much rather someone double-check than guess, and it meant a lot to know she cared enough to ask. Every now and then, she’d take Percy out to let her run around in an enclosed space like I asked, and she would send me the funniest videos of Percy exploring. Since I was away for so long, those little updates and pictures meant a lot. I never had to wonder how Percy was doing because Haili kept me in the loop the whole time. Also, anyone who has owned a bearded dragon knows their poop can be absolutely disgusting, and she handled all of that without complaint. That alone deserves a special mention! I completely trusted Haili with Percy and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets, especially reptiles and other animals that need a little extra attention.
