When caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment that keeps their routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely — including feeding schedules, walking times, medication needs, and preferred play or rest routines — so the pet feels secure and cared for in their familiar space. I make sure to keep the area clean, fresh, and safe, while giving them plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. If caring for pets in my own home, I prepare a clean, pet-friendly space and provide the same level of routine, attention, and care they’d get at home — including playtime, exercise, quiet time, and monitoring for any changes in behavior or health. My goal in either setting is to make pets feel happy, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away, and to provide updates for peace of mind.

For dogs, I love taking them on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or letting them explore a safe yard or park. For high-energy dogs, I add extra playtime and mental games like hide-and-seek with treats or toys. For cats, I engage them with interactive toys, laser pointers, and cozy cuddle sessions if they’re comfortable with affection.
