I work from home and go to school so I am able to stay over as needed for pet sitting and can care for any pets and let them out as needed throughout the day while working my day job Tuesday - Saturday. Cats love to lay on my laptop while I work and I love to let them. I walk dogs and make drop-in visits in my off time before and after work at 5:30pm and during my lunch break. Please note that I do leave for periods of 2-4 hours during overnight sittings with your permission to attend class.

A typical day
If a walk is booked, we can go for a run if your furry friend has the energy or we can take a leisurely walk taking in all of the smells. I like to make sure pups get a good “sniffari” as they call it. I’m happy to help your pet gets as much energy out as they want during our walks and playtime. I love to play with pups and cats when possible if a favorite toy can be provided. I treat every new pet client like my own furry family and I give them all of the love and pets while you’re away.

I have taken care of my own dogs and cats as well as family and friends’ furry family members since I can remember. In the last 10 years, I began walking and sitting professionally. I love to take pups on long walks and run with them when owner-approved. I am always looking to help with training during my visits using the same commands and techniques as you do for the most consistent outcomes for pets and pet parents. I am always punctual and I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry friend :)

Hailey was so wonderful! It's a strange thing to invite someone you don't know to stay in your home and take care of your favorite little beings. But Hailey made the effort to come meet me and my pets ahead of time. She was very communicative and gave my dogs all the love they normally get. Hailey also left the house in better condition than when I left! I'm positive my dogs had a way better experience than they would have had in a boarding facility.

Hailey is the most wonderful pet sitter and did a fantastic job with our three dogs and two cats! She was extremely professional, communicative and the loveliest person on top of that. Our dogs and cats instantly took such a liking to her and we felt so comfortable leaving them in her capable hands. She took such good care of them and was so attentive and also sent us so many adorable photos and updates. We felt like she went above and beyond in every way. Hailey is an extremely professional, capable, kind and thoughtful pet sitter who took great care of all five of our animals and handled their individual needs expertly. Hailey took such great care of our two dogs and our home while we were on a four day trip! She is caring, communicative, attentive, and responsive. She sent us a ton of great pictures while we were gone, which we really appreciated. Hailey didn’t hesitate to ask questions and went above and beyond to get our pups more treats for their walks 😊 We could tell she really cared for them and will definitely be asking her back. Highly recommend Hailey for those in the Aptos/ Santa Cruz area!
