Hi there! With over 10 years of equine handling experience and many years of caring for dogs and other pets, I’ve learned that good pet care is about more than just showing up. It’s about paying attention, being reliable, and taking the time to understand each animal as an individual. I love getting to know their personalities, routines, and little quirks so I can make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of pets, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, anxious, or somewhere in between. I’m very attentive to body language and changes in behavior, and I’m always happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you leave for me. I believe patience, consistency, and a little extra attention can make a big difference in how comfortable a pet feels with someone new. I also know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your pets. I value clear communication and will keep you updated throughout your booking, whether that’s through Rover cards, photos, or a quick message about how things are going. My goal is for you to be able to enjoy your time away without having to worry about whether your pets are being taken care of. Whether you need a quick drop-in, regular walks, an extended house sit, or care for your farm animals, I’m happy to help. I treat every animal I care for with the same patience, kindness, and respect I would give my own. Rates are not set in stone, and I’m happy to work with you when I can to make sure your pets get the care they deserve.

Hailey is absolutely THE BEST rascal sitter EVER! My two babies just LOVE her! Fleury is usually much slower at warming up to people but he goes right to Hailey like he's known her forever! I love the personal attention and all the pics Hailey sends me. I feel so relieved knowing Sadie and Fleury are not just being fed but getting loved on as well! Thank you Hailey for another great visit!!
Love the photos of the walks/drop ins. I also appreciate that Hailey takes the weather into account! Chill days with lots of water breaks are good for my dog instead of overheating (plus that gives a chance for the cat to have a visit too)

Schedule
I work part-time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends. This allows me to work around different routines and give your pets the time and attention they need without feeling rushed. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules when I can, and I do my best to keep my availability flexible for my clients.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m mindful of both the animals and the space they’re in. I always approach each visit with safety in mind, making sure doors and gates are secure, following feeding and care instructions carefully, and paying attention to anything that seems out of the ordinary. I also try to be aware of each pet’s behavior and body language so I can respond appropriately if something seems different or unusual. I understand that having someone come into your home to care for your pets is a big responsibility, and I treat that trust with respect. I’ll take care of your home as I would my own and make sure your pets receive the attention and care they need while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while giving you peace of mind that both your pets and your home are being looked after.

A typical day
Every visit is a little different depending on the pet and what they enjoy. I’m happy to go for walks, play, spend time outside, give lots of attention and affection, or simply keep them company if they’re more relaxed. I like to make sure pets get the exercise, attention, and mental stimulation that’s right for them while also following their normal routines and any instructions you’ve left for me. Whether your pet wants to play fetch, go for a walk, explore outside, or just hang out and get some extra attention, I’ll meet them where they’re at. My goal is to make each visit enjoyable while making sure they’re safe, cared for, and getting what they need.

- To provide the best care possible, I like to know as much as I can about your pet before their first visit. Things like their normal routine, favorite activities, personality, quirks, medical needs, things they’re nervous about, and anything else you think would be helpful are all useful to know. Every pet is different, and the more I know about them, the better I can understand what they need and make their time with me as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I’m always happy to go over any questions or specific instructions ahead of time so I can make sure I’m prepared to care for your pet the way you expect.
