Canadian pet enthusiast, doing a PhD in Sweden :)
I have grown up with multiple cats and dogs, and my husband and I have adopted two lovely (yet scared/anxious) cats from Karlskoga. I'm a very calm and responsible person, who loves spending time with animals when I am not doing my research (studying families raising autistic children in Sweden). I have experience walking dogs, and keeping a safe and loving home for my fluffy Norwegian forest cats, who both have a history of trauma growing up on a farm.

Yes, I care for two cats. One of them is very anxious, so we do not bring other pets to our home. However, we have a large apartment and could keep our cat Marabou in the bedroom if necessary.

Second time hiring Hailey as our cat sitter and we couldn't be happier! Even with a busy schedule, Hailey made sure to provide detailed reports and pictures from every visit, so we felt completely safe knowing our cat was well cared for.
Hailey is such a great catsitter. We received daily text and photos with updates, and she often stayed a little longer than booked. She was easy to communicate with and we felt comfortable leaving our boys (and home) in her care. If we need catsitting, we will reach out again!
I would 100% recommend Hailey as a cat sitter. My cat, who is otherwise a bit shy and cautious, really took to her, and I came home to a calm and well-cared-for cat. While I was away, I received lovely updates with photos and felt completely at ease knowing my cat was doing well at home. 😊

I felt 100% safe having Hailey as a pet sitter 💓 She was attuned to the needs of both me and the cats and right at the start I felt that she genuinely cares. This time I had 3 drop in visits with Hailey and we met before in my apartment to check in before the pet sitting. The communication before, while and after the drop in was 10/10. I felt safe. During the visits she gave detailed updates in both text and pictures (so happy to see a picture of my shy cat sitting close to her). Me, Alvin and Albus will definitely book her again! 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛

Schedule
Very flexible, due to my PhD work (e.g., I work from home and sometimes in Lund at the university). Happy to coordinate around your schedule.

- Please let me know if your dog or cat has any personal preferences. I have experience with pets who come from traumatized backgrounds, both here in Sweden and in Canada - it would be great to know if there is anything to avoid to make them as comfortable as possible.
