I work a hybrid job, with hours from 9 AM to 4:30 PM on Monday-Friday. While I do drive into the office/ to meeting spots for work, run errands, go to the gym, or grab dinner, I’m typically not gone for more than 4-5 consecutive hours during the day and am back all night. For drop-ins on my work days I’m available before 8 AM and after 4:30 PM, and if you’re nearby, I can sometimes swing by for an afternoon drop-in on my lunch break. I am fully free on weekends. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent care for your pets throughout the day and night.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort and well-being by following any specific care instructions you provide. Whether it’s feeding, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I make sure that your pets feel safe and secure in their familiar environment. I treat your home with respect, keeping it tidy and making sure your pets receive the attention and care they need while you’re away. My goal is to make the experience as seamless and stress-free as possible for both you and your pets.

A typical day

A typical day starts with early morning pet care, feeding, and medication based on your schedule, followed by a quick walk or playtime before I leave for work (or start a work from home day) at 8 AM. Throughout the day, I’m available to check on pets, ensuring they’re comfortable, and I take breaks to give them attention. While I may step out for errands, the gym, or dinner, I’m typically not gone for more than 4-5 hours and am back in the evening to stay overnight. I follow your feeding schedule and do the last potty break right before bed, usually around 9:30 PM. For drop-ins, I’m available before 8 AM and after 4:30 PM, and sometimes even during lunch if you’re nearby. This routine makes sure that your pets are cared for consistently, keeping them happy and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience

With 10 years of experience in cat and dog sitting, I provide tailored care for pets of all ages and needs. I grew up with dogs and currently have an 8-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix named Beau, so I’m well-versed in caring for both cats and dogs. My expertise includes administering medication, giving injections, and checking blood glucose, ensuring I can manage pets with medical needs. I also have experience with farm animals like chickens, ducks, guineas, goats, and pigs. Whether it’s caring for geriatric pets or energetic kittens and puppies, I offer flexible services, including drop-ins and house sitting. My drop-in visits range from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pet’s needs or the number of pets you have. For house sitting, I stay overnight and most of the day, as I work a hybrid job and it gives me flexibility, ensuring your pets are well cared for. I do need to know if you require 24/7 or close to it care, so I can make my job aware of out of office days. I’m typically only away for 2-5 hours at a time, giving you peace of mind while you're away. You can expect lots of cuddles too!

Hailey was amazing. Really feel like she cares for our pup. Great communicator, Out of the box problem solver. Even went above and beyond on making sure the house was taken care of. Princess has a new friend and we have a new dog sitter. Thanks Hailey
