As a college student, I like to keep a structured schedule, making it easy to incorporate your pet's care into my daily routine. I have set blocks of time in the mornings, between classes, and in the evenings that I dedicate to feeding, walks, and check-ins. On weekends and lighter class days, I’m able to spend extra time on longer walks, playtime, or sitting stays. I stay organized and plan ahead, so pets always get consistent attention, exercise, and care.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it keeps them comfortable, relaxed, and in a familiar routine. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding according to their schedule, refreshing water, providing potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special care they need.
Information Hailey L. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know anything that helps me keep them safe, comfortable, and consistent with their normal routine. This includes their feeding schedule, walking habits, energy level, and any behavioral quirks such as anxiety, reactivity, or fears. I also ask about medical needs, medications, allergies, and mobility issues. I also want to make sure we’re a good match for each other’s safety. So it’s important for me to know if the pet has a history of biting, aggression, resource guarding, or if they’re uncomfortable with strangers. Understanding their boundaries and triggers ahead of time helps me care for them confidently and calmly. I also ask about house rules, favorite activities, and how they typically behave when meeting new people, on walks, or when left alone. The more I know before the visit, the better I can tailor my care and keep both the pet and myself safe and comfortable.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active and engaged, and one of my favorite things to do is take them on hikes when it’s appropriate and the owner approves. Exploring new trails gives them great exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of sniffing opportunities. For everyday fun, I also enjoy neighborhood walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, enrichment games, and giving lots of attention and affection. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend time cuddling, brushing, or hanging out so they feel calm and comfortable.

I've had dogs my whole life ranging from a 105 pound Lab to a 9 pound Chihuahua. Family friends and acquaintances have relied on me time and time again to house sit and watch their dogs/cats.

Hailey did a great job house-sitting and taking care of our two Boston Terriers. Hailey provided regular updates with photos of our pups while we were away. When we returned home, it was clear that Hailey also took the extra care to tidy up before leaving. I would definitely use Hailey again and recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and thoughtful sitter.

Hailey was great with my very high maintenance very high energy pup Oliver. She was great at providing updates and communicating any changes/concerns during her stay. I highly recommend her :)
I have known Hailey for a long time now and have asked her on multiple occasions to help me out with pets of my own. I know that I can trust her to look out for the health and wellness of my pets, as well as doing whatever she can to see them happy and loved. Hailey cares for any animal like it is her own, being completely willing to go above and beyond if need be. She is a great person and huge animal advocate - and one of the few people I trust with my own animals. I highly recommend Hailey to anyone looking for help with their pet.
