***I’m moving out of New Mexico in April and no longer taking jobs after March 31.*** **PET SITTER WHO SPECIALIZES WITH CATS** Highlights of my experience: - Lover of all animals and plants. - 21 years of living with cats. - Currently have four cats and a jumping spider as pets. - Two years fostering kittens and adult cats (feral and socialized). - Able to give medication orally, pills in food, ear creams, and eye medication. Have some experience with giving medication via needles. - I have previous experience with cat sitting and snake sitting, as well as the additional duties of house sitting and plant sitting. Owned fish and turtles when I was younger. Personal philosophy: I love all animals and treat them as if they were my own. My philosophy is to let the cat come to me and go at their preferred pace. I want to make their experience of a new person in their territory as easy and comfortable as possible. Services: On Rover, I focus solely on sitting for cats (or any other non-dog pet). While I love dogs, I choose to only sit non-dog pets on this app. As I have four cats, my house is busy enough. Therefore, I offer to do house visits. I am good with cat sitting any number of cats. I am comfortable giving any sort of medication. I will also do house sitting or plant sitting while I am watching your fur family at no extra cost. I also have experience with pet sitting a snake and fish.

Safety, trust & environment
When I visit a client’s home, I first make certain I lay eyes on each animal. I check the water and food bowls, clean the litter boxes, and walk around the house to check for puke or any other messes that need to be cleaned up. I then play with the cats using their favorite toys. After playtime, I like to sit down on the couch and allow the cats to come up to me. I like to give treats to ensure that they have a positive association with me when I first enter and when I leave their territory. I always take photos of the animals and send those along with an update each time I visit. I own my own car and it is a reliable ford escape.

We’ve had Hailey do drop-ins for our two cats 3 times now and we can’t recommend her more. She’s extremely courteous, polite, respectful, and diligent, and is terrific with the cats. We always know they’re in good hands when we have to travel.

It is so wonderful to feel confident in the person who is coming into our home and taking care of our beloved pets. Hailey did a great job. My 2 cats warmed up to her and interacted with her which is testament to her care. We got comments with each visit as well as pictures. The one issue I have is with the Rover app. It was confusing and I could see the pictures Hailey took once in awhile, not easily and after each visit.
Hailey cares for my fur babies as if they were her own.

Schedule
I’m currently a graduate student who works from home. My schedule is incredibly flexible. Once school starts in August my schedule may change and I may be on campus for a day or two.
