Safety, trust & environment
Having had a senior dog who is anxious and can be aggressive towards strangers, I know just how important it is for your furry friend to feel safe. I'm well versed in giving oral medication via pill or liquid, brushing techniques for different breeds, different walking paces and lifting procedures, and following guidelines for puppy training. Along with my dogs, I have 2 cats, and for anyone who owns a cat, you know they can be just as needy as the pups! My black cat, Delta, loves to be pet in the kitchen & is on a special diet for his urinary tract issues. My siamese, Virtute, loves to sing you songs of his days outside & suckle on the fuzzy blankets. All of this to say, outside of working in vet hospitals & animal shelters, I have personal life experience to handle a multitude of personalities & needs!
Information Hailey G. would like to know about your pet
I'm well versed in administering various types of medications for cats and dogs, so if your friend needs a little extra TLC, feel free to let me know ahead of time! I'd love to learn more about their personalities, ticks, and licks before being left alone with them. I'm also very comfortable getting to spend some time with y'all as a unit so they can get a sense of who I am before our 1:1 time.
A typical day
Activities range depending on the activity level of your animal! I'm training for a half marathon, so for the more active pups, we can go on a run together or go to a large park and play fetch! For the calmer ones, walks around the neighborhood to sniff the rosemary or small adventures to go look at mossy trees would probably be in store. If they just need some company, that's okay too! I love a good binging of a TV show or book with a sweet pup or kitty at my side.

Pet care experience
Having lived and worked with animals for over 14 years now, I genuinely have a passion for sharing the love with our furry friends. I'm the go-to gal for neighbors, family, & friends to walk, play, and cuddle with, arguably, the most valuable member of the family. With experience ranging from rescuing and fostering multiple young kittens, applying ointment and medicine to senior dogs, to walking and existing around reactionary animals, I am well equipped in caring for others with various needs. I aim to treat your pets with the same love and respect as I treat my own and do everything in my power to make sure they are happy and safe, and ensure that you get plenty of baby pics so you know they're in good hands! I've worked in animal hospitals & shelters, and have owned & cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, snakes, fish, and even plants as well! While I'm currently unable to board animals, with my extensive experience with caring for multiple beings, not only am I able to do drop ins and walks, but I can housesit for you as well. I understand that everyone has different needs and expectations. While I've pet sit on multiple occasions, this is my first time on here and I'm not really sure about the way pricing is listed, and also I'm new to the area! The main is my base price, but if you have any questions, please reach out to me to ask them. I'm extremely flexible and willing to work with different situations :)

Reviews

I had a last minute thing come up and needed care for both of my dogs for a week. I am always a bit nervous to have a new sitter for longer dog sitting, but Hailey was wonderful!! She was very communicative and my dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives. Definitely recommend her!
She did a great job on short notice. Id definitely hire her again
I have let Hailey walk and care for my senior dog handfuls of times. She is always curious, kind and willing to go above and beyond to make sure my dog Meeka's specific needs are met. She is mindful of care and willing to simply follow the little list of rules we have in our house, while still making sure her and my dog have so much fun when they're together. I feel like I do not have to worry when Hailey is watching my dog, so I can just enjoy my time out
During Hailey's time living in Florida, she frequently helped care for my golden retriever. My dog LOVED spending time with Hailey. Hailey helped with taking my dog to the beach, taking him to local dog friendly restaurants, long potty walks, and couch snuggles. She did a great job with making sure that my dog was staying hydrated and never went more than a handful of hours without a potty break. I would fully recommend Hailey as a dog (or cat) sitter with confidence that she would do a fantastic job with taking care of your pet's needs.
