Clients new to Rover: ask me how to get a $40 discount on your first booking! 🐾 As a college graduate in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation as well as a longtime petsitter, I have a deep understanding of animal behavior and handling. Your pet and I will be best friends before you know it—yes, even your dog that doesn’t like anyone but you! I have been on Rover since 2023 and petsat for friends and family for over a decade prior, so when you book with me you can be sure your pet is safe with somebody competent and responsible that has stood the test of years of petsitting. I specialize in nervous pets, large & XL breeds dogs, and reactive dogs, and have a gentle demeanor that eases anxious pets. I am comfortable handling strong, stubborn dogs (including my own 65lb reactive pittie), but I have a gentle touch that also makes me great with older, skittish, and special-needs pets. I am comfortable with medically complex animals and have taken care of several animals after surgeries and major medical events. I have experience with all types of pets, from extra small to extra large (including livestock!) and from little ones to seniors, which makes me well-equipped to care for any animal, including unconventional, senior, or special needs pets. I have lifelong experience with both petsitting and babysitting, so I am a natural caregiver. In addition to dogs and cats, I am also experienced with rodents, birds, reptiles, and livestock including goats and horses. Walk and drop-in clients will receive an update and photos with every visit.

Please note that I require a meet & greet before ALL first-time bookings—your pet will thank you! I am more than happy to watch pets in your home or take them for outings. While caring for your pet in your home, you can expect an update with every visit. Feel free to leave written instructions for your pet’s care—just another way to make sure your furry friend gets everything they need from me! Dog walking clients: I care about the safety of your pet, so I do not use retractable (flexi) leashes, as they are prone to breaking and causing injury. If you do not own a standard leash, I have one spare—please let me know ahead of time if I will need to bring it.

Hailey was great! She walked and feed our dog while we were out of town and did all the steps needed to do it. We live in a condo so it's tricky. They took lots of photos of our dog which help us have peace of mind.
Hailey is a dedicated and very professional sitter. She took care of our older dog who recently had surgery and was very attentive. Will be rebooking her for sure.

Schedule
I can walk or drop in on your pet Monday through Friday, 6a-7p. I am a local and a recent UF graduate, so I am available year-round except for major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE).
