Hailey B. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Hailey was just amazing. It was so obvious she loves dogs and knows how to approach them and make them comfortable. I was so nervous about leaving Gretel for a week as I've never had to and was worried about if she would eat and be okay. Hailey made me so sure that Gretel was in good hands with her updates and photos and the way she would ask questions about Gretel's little quirks. Every picture I got revealed a more comfortable and happy dog. Gretel went from sitting alone on the floor to snuggling in bed and giving many kisses and being her bossy self. Thank you, Hailey, for taking such wonderful care of my baby and treating her as if she were your own. I know who I can trust with pet sitting, and Gretel has a new safe place now.

I am a close friend of Hailey who is over often and I meet most of the dogs she sits for and has seen her interaction with the dogs. Hailey is a super sweet girl and is the most friendliest dog sitter you would ever meet and is super good with dogs and loves dogs. The dogs she sat with have always seem content and well adjusted and are always happy with her.

While we have had many positive experiences with sitters through Rover, this was by far the worst experience for our dog, Coco. In my opinion, this sitter lacks even the most basic understanding of dog care. When I asked if she could send a few photos each day so I could see how Coco was doing, she seemed surprised by the request but agreed. However, she rarely sent updates unless I specifically asked for them. In every photo I received, Coco appeared extremely unhappy, stressed, and withdrawn. Anyone familiar with dogs can recognize these signs, but I am not convinced this sitter understands canine behavior or emotional well-being. What concerned me even more was her reaction after Coco had an accident on the carpet. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she claimed that Coco was not properly trained and requested additional payment under a “puppy rate.” When I checked the booking details, I discovered that she had actually modified her previously listed puppy rate to increase the charge by an additional $10. I found this behavior dishonest and unprofessional. Looking back, I should have immediately contacted someone I knew to pick Coco up as soon as these issues became apparent. I am deeply disappointed that Rover allows sitters with such limited knowledge and professionalism to care for people’s pets. I sincerely hope that other pet owners do not have to go through the same experience that we did.

Hailey was so great with our fur baby. She updated us multiple times throughout the trip with photos and updates. I could see our fur baby slowly getting comfortable with her through all the updates. Hailey was super flexible with our short notice and it saved us! I will be using her services from here on out.
