I graduated from college in December and completed my internship, so I am now working on my job search. I can dog sit full-time and do overnights. I may have an interview every once in a while, but they’re always virtual.

I can typically take dogs on walks every four hours. I’m always happy to give updates and send photos. I do not offer boarding at this time. I do pet sitting full-time plus overnights and rarely have to leave during the day. I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking.

Please let me know if your dog or cat has a particular schedule to stick with or takes medication. I’m home throughout the day so my schedule is very flexible. I would also like to be aware of any triggers that your dogs may have. I often do meet and greets to ask some questions or can communicate over the phone via app, text, call, etc.
A typical day
A typical day with your dog would be to wake up at 7am and go on a walk in the area. I can offer four walks/ potty breaks a day. I would love to take your dog to a dog park to play fetch, depending on whether your dog is able to be around other dogs. In the past I have taken dogs to Ledges in Ames or community dog parks. I will always ask for permission before going to a park and I have a mini van for easy transportation. I was once asked to prepare/ cook a dog’s food every day I dog sat. If you provide the ingredients and instructions, I would be happy to do it. Now I know how to make homemade dog treats!

I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. When I was 12 I started a “business” in my neighborhood watching all kinds of pets. I worked for a summer for a more professional cat and dog sitting business in 2021 where I got more experience with senior dogs and puppy training. I no longer work for that business, but I still have a few of my own clients. I have also taken dog and puppy training classes. I could possibly teach your dogs some new tricks!

Hailey was superb! You’ll know right away at a meet and greet that she’s very conscientious and wants to know how to best meet your needs and take care of your pets. Always worried about leaving them, I was so grateful to get her updates with pictures, anecdotes, and details of how they were doing. She took great care of the house and yard, and my dog and cat loved her. I was not concerned about them at all and hope she’ll be available for future stays.
