I have nearly 10 years of professional experience in animal care, including medical. (Medication administration, animal first aid and CPR, etc) My love for animal care started when I got my first job at a corporate pet store where I would find sick or unwanted animals and take them home. (To my parents dismay) When I decided to make helping animals my career, I became a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic (dogs and cats). I started out as a kennel lead in the boarding department, where I would give dogs and cats a home away from home. Through that experience I became a veterinary assistant, which I have been doing for the last 5 years. I love the relationships I have built with both patients and clients throughout the years. My strengths are in working with scared/anxious animals and helping them feel safe and calm. I have years of pet sitting experience with family and friends. I would love the opportunity to bond with your fur babies and care for them as needed. I am comfortable with reptiles, birds and fish as well.
