Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover based in South Salem, and I'm here to make your life easier—and your dog’s life more fun. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently share my home with Annie, a sweet Australian Cattle Dog–Boxer rescue who keeps me on my toes!

I offer both dog walking and drop-in visits, and I accept dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pup needs a calm walk around the neighborhood or a more adventurous outing, I tailor every visit to fit their energy level and needs. Living on 5 acres gives me a deep appreciation for how important physical and mental stimulation is for dogs. I’m happy to bring your dog to nearby nature spots like Onatru Farm Park or Leon Levy Preserve, or stick to your local neighborhood for consistency and comfort. Either way, your dog will get the attention, care, and exercise they deserve.

Hagen is an exceptional caretaker. He walked my dog, Tahli, every day for a week and went above and beyond with his communication— sharing helpful notes from each walk and asking thoughtful questions when he first met her. I always felt she was in capable, caring hands. He even gave her extra outdoor time and was wonderfully patient with her quirky little habits. He can also cover a lot of ground in 30-45 minutes for dogs that need to get their energy out! I highly recommend Hagen to anyone looking for a responsible, attentive dog walker or sitter.
Hagen took care of our elderly dog on numerous occasions. She can be very skittish around other dogs and people, but Hagen made sure she was comfortable and relaxed. He has also house sat and watched all our pets - very fastidious and attentive to all our requests. Our dog needs medications, and this was no issue at all! We have dealt with a lot of dog walkers but Hagen is our favorite! Highly recommend!

- Before walking or boarding a dog, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, energy level, and any medical needs or behavioral quirks. I always ask about their feeding schedule, bathroom habits, leash behavior, and how they react to other dogs, people, or triggers like bikes or loud noises. It’s also helpful to know if they have separation anxiety, chewing tendencies, or any special commands or comfort items they rely on. For boarding, I like to understand their sleeping habits, crate preferences (if any), and how they typically behave in new environments. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, stress-free, and fun experience for both the dog and their owner.
