Hi! I’m originally from New York City and am currently back home for the next few months after spending the last three years living abroad and traveling extensively. During that time, I split my life between Australia—my current home base—and exploring different parts of the world. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had pets since I was a kid and have cared for my own dogs from playful puppyhood all the way through to their senior years. Along the way, I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and today I share my home with three cats who keep me constantly entertained. Honestly, I’ll take any excuse to be around animals—whether it’s cats, dogs, big or small, shy or full of energy. As I mentioned, travel is another big part of my life. While exploring the world, I took on pet sitting in different countries, which gave me the chance to meet wonderful pets and families while doing something I truly love. Between that and a lifetime of caring for my own animals, I’m confident and capable when it comes to looking after your furry family members. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love the chance to meet your pets and give them all the love they deserve while you’re away.

Hagar has cared for my yellow lab, River, many times over the years. She is a true animal lover. And probably my dogs second favorite person in the world. Hagar is also an avid hiker and loves long walks with River. Hagar has a lot of medical knowledge and has observed issues with River a few times that have helped me care for her. She is always on time, always in a happy mood and I give her a 10 out of 10 rating.
Hagar is an excellent pet caretaker, you can tell she genuinely loves animals just by the way she interacts with them. My dog has special needs; he’s deaf and can no longer walk long distances, so she took him out daily in his trolley and made sure he took all his medication. I always felt he was in good hands. Highly recommend!
I can’t recommend Hagar enough as a pet sitter. She grew up around animals, and it really shows in how comfortable, attentive, and caring she is with them. She used to watch my dog Maverick, and I always had complete peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. Hagar is reliable, communicative, and genuinely loves animals—she treats them like her own. Maverick absolutely loved spending time with her, and I could always tell he was happy and well cared for when I got back. Anyone would be lucky to have Hagar looking after their pet!
Hagar was an amazing pet sitter for my puppy Roman. She was so kind and thoughtful with his care, and made sure to follow all the instructions I left perfectly. I would greatly recommend her to anyone to trust their pet with her!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m currently back in New York for the next few months and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m home most of the day and can easily plan my day around a pet’s needs. Whether that means early morning walks, sticking to feeding schedules, playtime, medication, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy making sure animals receive the attention and care they deserve. Having cared for pets throughout my life and while traveling abroad, I’m used to adapting to different routines and personalities. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them never feels like a chore—it’s something I look forward to and happily incorporate into my everyday life.

In reality, every pet I’ve ever looked after has been completely different, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. Each animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I always try to tailor my care accordingly. While my own dog is very low maintenance, I’ve also cared for senior pets, anxious pets, and very independent animals. Some love long walks and lots of playtime, while others are happiest relaxing and sticking to a familiar routine. I always take the owner's instructions into account and do my best to maintain the schedule and environment that makes their pet feel most comfortable. I believe consistency and patience go a long way in helping animals feel safe and happy while their owners are away. Since I’m currently back in New York for the next few months, I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care, and to adapt to any specific needs they may have.
