Pet care experience

Pre-Vet + 3 Years Clinic Experience

I spent three years working at an animal hospital as both a kennel technician and veterinary assistant, where I cared for pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. I’m currently an Animal Science major on the pre-veterinary track at the University of Arkansas, so animals truly are a huge part of my life. Beyond my experience, I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs medication, I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

Schedule

I’m a full-time Animal Science student on the pre-veterinary track, but my class schedule is very flexible and I’m never away for more than about three hours at a time. That means I’m able to provide consistent care, check-ins, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I have lots of time between classes and in the evenings to play, cuddle, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a quiet one-bedroom apartment and only host cats to ensure a calm, low-stress environment. I do not have any pets of my own, which allows me to give your cat my full attention and keep their space peaceful and secure. I’m also happy to care for pets in their own home if that’s where they’re most comfortable. With my experience working in an animal hospital, I’m confident handling cats of all temperaments and can monitor closely for any health or behavioral concerns.
