Critter care is my life. They have open access to the acreage, loads of toys (yep I do a lot of throwing!). The land is fun with great forested running and jumping opportunities. When we aren't outside playing or it is a rainy day then we nap or play inside. I'm flexible to the needs of the group. My boy is very active so I come well trained!

Safety, trust & environment
I have 2.5 acres fenced (4 feet), ample dog beds and a dog couch. My pup Merlin and I go out of our way to make sure that your pup is happy, loved and having a good time. I love animals & they can feel that, connection and trust is built. I regularly bake Merlin's favorite dog treat (peanut butter biscuits).

Information Haden S. would like to know about your pet
I prefer dogs that aren't constant barkers (I live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of walkers, bicyclists, horses and want to respect them. Also aggression is a deal breaker, I want an environment that feels safe for all of the pups. Some days I may have only one dog and others I have 5 so it is important that everyone is well socialized and sweet.
A typical day
I'm here. We can do whatever whenever. Nice days we are mostly out running, socializing, playing with toys, walking, meeting the sheep. Rainy days we spend more time inside napping, playing, cuddling, baking puppy cookies (Merlin's favorite is peanut butter). I have regulars who come daily and regular overnighters so there is a community feel that is so sweet, friendships built and fostered.

Pet care experience
I have been rescuing dogs and cats since I was a kid. Adulthood has brought goats, alpaca, sheep and a host of other fun critters. I have a regular group of pups that I care for and I am now opening my home up to yours.

Buddy loved his weekend with Haden. He had a great time with lots of friends and lots of room to play. Haden sent so many pictures and messages. I joked that I have a new Buddy album. We travel around the country so he doesn’t get much time with other dogs except in the winter months.

Great large wooded acreage where Willie could run and play with other dogs. He came home tired and happy! Thanks so much for taking care of my boy.
Haden was wonderful for my dog for a one-time visit while I was in town on a vacation. Her large acreage and the other friendly dogs meant mine had lots of play time all day. And the photos sent proved it!
WOWWWWW! Haden is incredible. My partner and I have a sweetheart good epileptic cross-eye bundle of love, Ollie. We were getting married in Port Townsend and didn't want to be far from our dog child but also didn't want to put him in a kennel. Haden's yard is incredible, more like a gorgeous dynamic dog park. Ollie was in heaven. Before anything happened, we did a meet and greet with some of the other cute furry friends being loved and taken care of. That was a very special touch and we were so thankful for it. Then came our wedding weekend and it was non-stop. We were busy and we didn't have a single worry because we had 1000% trust in haden as a temporary parent. She was incredible, gave him his meds, took care of him, and sent us some of the best photos of ollie! We have so much gratitude. 1000% recommend.
