Responsible and loving pet parent
I have been a lifelong pet parent, from raising puppies to adopting older dogs. My home doesn't feel complete without a fur baby in it! During those few years I have not had my own dog I have been an active volunteer walking dogs at shelters and fostering for local rescue organizations. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and am adept at reading dog body language and taking cues from your pet in order to meet their needs. We have a dog door and a large fenced back yard for your dog to explore, and I am home during the day to give them all the attention they deserve! Buddy is our resident 7 year old Golden Retriever rescue who is easygoing and friendly, he loves playing (especially with those with 'puppy energy' as he says it keeps him young;) Cinnamon is our newest addition, a Cavalier King Charles, and plays well with dogs of all sizes. I only board dogs from one family at a time, (although I have occasional daycare dogs joining us) so your pups get the same love and attention they are used to at home!

Haddie and her family took great care of our two dogs!! She was easy to communicate with, sent lots of pictures and loved our dogs as if they were her own. Highly recommend!
Our dog came back well fed, loved, and happy. She got lots of attention, walks, and we got peace of mind that she was well loved and treated like fur family! She even got a Thanksgiving cup treat! Lots of fantastic picture updates too. We will definitely come back if there is space!
Haddie was amazing! My dogs love going to her house and I felt peace of mind knowing they were in good hands when we went out of town. I would definitely recommend her!

Haddie took great care of Luna and made her feel right at home while I was away. She kept me updated with lots of pictures 😊 would recommend booking with her!
Cupid had the best time staying with Haddie, her dog Buddy, and her family. Buddy is the most friendly retriever you'll ever meet! He helped Cupid feel comfortable in the new environment and played with her a lot. I highly recommend Haddie to anyone looking for a nice family to watch their baby. We will definitely be coming back 🙂

Schedule
I am home during the day with the exception of school pick up and drop off and the occasional errand, so we have plenty of time to go on long walks, play and snuggle at home!

Safety, trust & environment
I will adhere to the feeding and care schedule your pet is used to in order to minimize stress. Your pet has access to the backyard at all times and we have a great space for tug of war or fetch. We have memory foam pet beds and AC to keep your pet comfortable inside as well. I provide daily updates and/or photos of your pet to ensure your peace of mind while away.

A typical day
While staying with us your pet will enjoy daily walks, play time in the backyard including fetch, tug of war and other enrichment activities like frozen Kongs. I also have favorite creek and hiking spots for the dogs if you have an adventurous pup and ok outings ahead of time.

- For the comfort of your pet, please let me know what their preferred activity level and schedule is so that we can adjust our activities accordingly (ie length and frequency of walks, favorite activities, times of feedings etc.) Please let me know also if your pet has any allergies or medical conditions I need to keep an eye on. If your dog has any mischievous tendencies (ie a chewer, bolter, counter surfer;) please let me know so that I can make sure to prepare the house accordingly in order to keep them safe:)
