Hello! We are Gypsy and Mark, and we live for animal care and welfare. Gypsy is an expert in cat care, with a lifetime of general cat care experience and over 15 years in cat rescue and rehabilitation. This means she can administer medication expertly, is patient and understanding of timid and nervous cats, and skilled in feline health and hygiene. Having also previously volunteered at a number of veterinary clinics in and around Birmingham before she moved to Yorkshire, she also has experience in caring for rodents, birds, reptiles and some farm animals. She will travel anywhere for the chance to look after animals, and we have our own car. Mark is a gentle giant, retired and adores all animals regardless of their species. He is more the playful-spend-time type, while Gypsy takes care of the animal's needs (food, litter trays, hygiene care etc). He keeps a calm head in stressful situations, can deal with small handy-man type jobs, and also has a lifetime experience with a variety of animals including cats and avians. Both of us are non-drinkers and non-smokers. We don't eat meat, so we won't be preparing or bringing meat into your home except for your pets or upon your request. We will observe and respect any religious requirements when in your home, and we both enjoy exploring and seeing new places. We're a very quiet couple. rarely having the TV on if at all, unless the pets need this as some do. There won't be any issues with noise from us in regards to neighbours, thin walls and nervous animals. We can provide an up to date DBS check upon request. We have a large SUV, perfect for any size dog and multiples. We have reputable seatbelt-harness straps but feel free to provide your own for peace of mind. We carry a pet safe first aid kit that we've built up ourselves, with pet-safe antiseptic and bug repellents, just in case of any oopsies or frolicking in the irresistible long grass. We are very cautious with walks with long grass in the spring and summer, however, and we thoroughly check any pets in our care for ticks daily and after walks. Gypsy holds diplomas in Animal Psychology, and, Petsitting and Dogwalking. She is working on a Level 3 Animal Care course from Oxbridge.

We both have bags of patience and understanding, both educationally and practically and, if we may say so, through pure common sense. We will follow your instructions to the letter if you have a specific routine, or, we will learn your pet's language fast enough understand *their* routine. Rest assured, discretion is at the heart of our mission. Sensitive information of any kind will not go beyond us, messages will be taken discreetly without informing the other party of your absence. We have experience providing discreet and reliable pet care services for high-profile clients, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Also - Gypsy loves jetwashers. If you have a jetwash, and want your patio or house or pool or entire dang street jetwashed, she's all over it.

Gypsy-Jasmine took exceptional care of our cats, Oscar and Alfie, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Oscar requires regular injections, which she handled with real confidence and diligence. It gave us huge peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. Her updates were one of the highlights of our trip! Thoughtful, funny, and full of personality, with some brilliant photos that genuinely made us smile (and laugh), helping us feel reassured that our cats were happy and safe. We came home to two very content, relaxed cats and a house that was spotless and beautifully looked after. What really stood out was how much Gypsy genuinely cares. She went above and beyond to make sure not just that our cats were safe and well, but that we felt completely comfortable and reassured while we were away. Gypsy and her partner even adjusted their original plans to accommodate our needs, which we highly appreciated. We would recommend her without hesitation.

Gypsy and Mark watched over our snakes, cats, dogs and hedgehogs for 3 weeks. Communication was easy, not purturbed by amount of animal, and nice people. House was looked after and secure. Basic staples left for family return. 5 star service.
Mark and gypsy came from Yorkshire to Cornwall to look after our cats, dogs and chickens. They both had knowledge of some common ailments of poultry, which left me feeling confident, they were very knowledgeable about cats and dogs and a lovely couple to talk to. They sent regular updates, we're professional and friendly, and even let me pay some of the fees in supermarket vouchers so as to make sure their fees worked in my budget. They made my whole holiday a lot less worrisome. All animals were well cared for, and the house was in perfect condition. Would recommend.
Gypsy and Mark came all the way to Wales to look after our 2 horses, 4 sheep and 2 cats. They were very professional from start to finish and even kept in touch regularly before the sit, wanting to make sure we had a rapport built. The animals were happy and healthy and we received regular updates. The house was clean and tidy and we even came home to fresh bread and milk and a welcome home card, along with some amusing pet reports.

We are making our way in the world by offering exceptional petsitting and housesitting services. Petsitting IS our routine, with one of us being retired (Mark) and the other petsitting professionally, we have teamed up to make a fantastic team.
