I've been around animals my entire life! My mom and I used to rescue wild animals and foster kittens when I was a child. When I got older, I knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. After graduating high school, I worked for a brief time at a humane society before starting college. After that, I had many jobs surrounding pets, including working at a veterinary hospital, training service dogs, and being a wedding dog attendant. Most recently, for two years, I was a professional pet sitter and dog walker, and I loved it! In 2020, I switched career focus due to the pandemic and started working full-time from home in the video game industry. Although I enjoy my job, I greatly miss pet-sitting and helping offer humans peace of mind that their best furry friends are taken care of while they're away. With my many years of experience, I'm comfortable with all dogs and cats, regardless of age or breed! I have some experience with basic training techniques for dogs, and I'm comfortable giving medications (within reason). I'm able to follow detailed instructions and I take attention to detail very seriously. I can also help with house sitting- watering plants, taking the trash out, switching lights on and off, and bringing the mail in. I will tailor your visits to whatever your pets and home need. Since I work from home, I can be very flexible with my schedule. The purpose of hiring someone to do at-home pet sitting is to ensure your pet gets the daily routine they're used to and you don't have to worry about anything while you're gone- I can do that for you!
