I'm Gwenna, an enthusiastic dog lover with experience caring for all type of animals (dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, horses, ferrets...) My partner and I have a 5y/o cat and a 2y/o GSD puppy, and have worked for 3 years full-time house sitting, dog walking, and cat sitting in Chicago. I offer cat check-ins, dog outings, house sitting, and occasional doggy daycare or sleepovers. I prioritize dog welfare, balancing mental stimulation and enrichment (sniff, lick, shred, chew) with physical activity. I also combine play time and walks/adventures with basic good manners training, so anytime spent with me is good learning and practicing of basic good dog behavior. I specialize in puppy visits/walks and training and am always eager to meet a new friend to practice skills with. I’m passionate about reading dog body language and respecting their basic needs and emotions. I am an experienced and responsible house sitter. I leave your home in the same if not better condition as I found it, while providing top notch care and love (especially snuggles) for your pup and even your house plants (self-proclaimed green thumb). I have professional experience as a childcare provider and event director and supervisor. I am organized, responsible, and very positive - especially when surrounded by four-legged friends!
