I have over a decade of experience taking care of animals of all sizes, types, and ages. My experience includes fostering and sitting dogs and cats of all types, sizes, and ages. I volunteered as a foster home for dogs for 10 years where I cared for a wide variety of dogs, hundreds in total. I also have experience fostering young kittens (bottle babies). I have experience caring for exotic pets, fish, and chickens as well, including parrots/birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I also have experience with gardens and house plants. I do overnight stays and stop-in visits.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can care for them exactly the way you would. During visits I make sure pets have fresh water, meals according to their schedule, a clean litter box if applicable, and plenty of attention and playtime. I’m attentive to behavior and will always keep an eye out for anything unusual so I can communicate with you right away if needed. I respect clients’ homes and always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure before leaving. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and doing well while you’re away. I aim to create a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for.

We have two dogs and one dog is very anxious around new people. Gwen started by having in-house visits and playing with our anxious dog. Gwen took the time to make her comfortable and feel secure. Now the dog runs up to Gwen when she comes over. Gwen is able to take her on walks and our dog listens to commands from Gwen. I highly recommend Gwen’s services with your furry friends!

Hi! I’m a dependable and caring animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I currently work part-time four days a week with 8-hour shifts, but I’m still able to provide daily drop-in visits, overnight stays, and walks as long as the schedule works around my work hours. I am not able to board in my home. I’m happy to communicate clearly about timing so your pet gets the care and attention they need. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every animal has a unique personality. Whether your pet loves playtime and activity or prefers calm companionship, I’m patient and attentive to their needs. I’m also comfortable handling feeding routines, litter box cleaning, fresh water, walks, playtime, and giving plenty of affection. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and cared for while you’re away, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is doing well. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
