Work at home experienced dog lover!
Hello! My name is Gwen and my husband's name is Mikkel. We live full time between the towns of Granby and Grand Lake and both work from home. We currently have 1 dog - a medium-sized, mild-mannered mixed breed named Baxter. Since we both work from home and are now empty nesters with a quiet house, we'd love to help you with dog care when you need to go out of town. We both have had dogs all of our lives, ranging from small dogs to labs, huskies, and shepherd mixes. We have taken care of dogs for friends and family on a regular basis. We take Baxter out for a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening so your pup(s) will get plenty of exercise with us if they'd like to. We don't have a fenced yard but will keep the dogs on leashes. We'll only book 1 family's dog or dogs at a time so it won't be too chaotic. Gwen & Mikkel were great to work with. I dropped my dogs off for day care while we visited Rocky Mountain. They got to go for a walk and take some naps. Great communication and updates from these two. We would use them again next time we are in town.
They were everything you want from your rover!
Very close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park, where dogs are not allowed on trails. Gwen and Mikkel were able to watch our pups Angus and Rosie for a day while we were vacation so we could go hiking. Great communication and sent us several pictures as well. We knew our dogs were in great hands which made our day all that more enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!
Gwen and Mikkel were great with our dog Enya and spoiled her by taking long walks and sending us pictures every day. Will definitely book with them again. Thanks.

Schedule
We both wake up early so the dogs will get a walk and breakfast to start the day. We keep to a regular schedule which we find that dogs like so they know what to expect. There will be a great balance of rest time, exercise, and meal time.

A typical day
A typical day will start with some greetings and lots of petting, followed by a walk, breakfast, and rest time. We have toys here for when the dogs are feeling playful. We almost always take an afternoon walk followed by more chill time:)
