Your dogs holiday starts here!
Hi! I’m Guy, a massive dog lover based in Wing village, surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of lovely walks right on our doorstep. Dogs have always been a big part of my life: I grew up with a loyal German Shepherd, later had several energetic Border Collies, and now share my home with our calm and friendly Labrador. Over the years, we’ve also welcomed many friends’ dogs into our home while they were away, so I’m very used to caring for dogs with all sorts of personalities and routines. I was lucky enough to retire early, which means I have lots of time to dedicate to the things I enjoy - staying active, being outdoors, and spending time with dogs. I’m usually at home apart from short school runs for our two boys (aged 9 and 8), who both love animals and know how to treat them gently and respectfully. My wife also mostly works from home, so your dog will never be short of company, walks, or cuddles. We have a secure, fully fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and relaxation. Since we have our own Labrador, it’s ideal if your dog is comfortable around other dogs and children. Whether your dog enjoys long adventures or prefers a gentle stroll and quiet naps, I’ll adapt to their personality and make sure they feel at home.

After an initial meet-and-greet with Guy, his family, and of course Chilli, we felt very confident that Arthur would be well looked after and in safe hands. Communication was excellent throughout our time away, with regular updates and photos that were lovely to receive and gave us real peace of mind. Arthur is an excitable one-year-old, but he seemed very happy and settled during his stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Guy to look after Arthur again in the future. Thank you, Guy! 😊
Basil had an excellent time with Guy and his family. Guy did a meet and greet to learn about him and his needs and was very communicative before and during his stay. We received photos and updates of Basil looking very happy and settled. We are already booking another stay for later in the summer. Thank you.
Guy looked after Bruce really well and communicated regularly with lots of photo updates!
Teddy had another great day with Guy and family. Is always very well looked after and excited to go there. It was arranged quite last minute on New Year’s Day so it’s greatly appreciated.
We were so worried leaving our 3month old puppy, but Guy and his family were so welcoming when we met them, and have a lovely home. We were given so much reassurance from as soon as we booked with Guy that Maverick would be fine. Guy gave us daily updates on Maverick and it looked like he had the best time too. We will definitely be using Guy again and would 100% recommend him and his family.
Teddy had another great day with Guy and made friends with another dog they were looking after. He makes himself at home there and is very well looked after. Would highly recommend if you need dog care.

Schedule
At home full time other than school runs while my wife also regularly works from home. I generally walk the dogs twice a day while my wife also adds additional walks.

Safety, trust & environment
Our garden is fully fenced as we have our own dog so understand the security it requires. Our dog does come upstairs although she does sneak up to watch my wife home work and prefer this in visiting dogs.
