I've been a distance runner even longer than I've taken care of dogs, so I'm able to take your dog three or four miles every half hour and match any energy they throw my way if staying in their backyard or home.

My wife and I moved to Austin for the running scene, so long walks and miles of movement are what I live for. If your dog has energy to burn, I’m more than happy to match their energy on the trails, sidewalks, and (safe) roads. I’m a former service dog trainer, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, quirks, and needs. At home, we’ve got two bigger, high-energy older dogs, which means I’m used to handling strength, stamina, and the occasional “we’re not done yet” attitude. Whether your pup needs a chill walk, a proper outing, or a legit run, I’ve got you covered. I’m reliable, flexible, and I treat every dog like they’re my own .

Gustavo was the best house and dog sitter we’ve had and we’ve used quite a few sitters through Rover. He sent multiple pictures and updates every day which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious our dogs were well cared for and loved. We would absolutely book Gustavo again and highly recommend him!
