I personally have a teacup chihuahua and live out in the country with hawks, and other large birds of prey. So I stay outside with him and the other dogs while they do their business. Our property is also entirely fenced in and gated, however I still Stay out with them.

A typical day
A typical day for me when dog sitting is starting the morning off with coffee in the sun with some cuddles before I begin my school day. I'll set a timer on my phone for 50 minutes of schoolwork and then 10 minutes to stretch and get some air with the dogs. After my school day is over around 3, I'll then take the dogs outside for a while and play with them. I really enjoy taking dogs to my local coffee stand:)

I began house sitting in high school, and carried it all the way into my college career. I’ve cared for many types of dogs, including special needs dogs as well. My family is also actively involved in dog fostering, including dogs with special needs 🩵

I enjoyed meeting Gunnar at our meet and greet and his calm vibe was the perfect match to our high energy dog. He is very knowledgeable about dog care which made it easier to explain my dog’s extensive routine. He arrived on time and provided daily updates. He’s also very considerate and kept the house tidy. We were able to enjoy our weekend away while Gunnar was at the house. After just moving to the area, finding a great sitter relieves a lot of stress!
Gunnar is great -- our dogs and cat love him, he keeps the house nice and tidy, and he's such a nice guy!
Gunnar always does a wonderful job with our animals and they love him! We can always trust him to stay in communication and take good care of the house while we're gone, too.
Gunnar house sat and watched our dog Louie Monster. Gunnar was a great communicator and helped us on short notice. We will book again.
