I work 4 days a week from 7am-7pm but often do Rover drop ins before or after work, and on my days off. For overnight stays, the rate can be modified depending on how flexible you are with me stepping away to care for my own pets and taking on other tasks throughout the day (I.e what is the max amount of time your dog can be left alone during the stay).

I carefully follow the instructions left to me by the pet owner. I enter each home with an understanding that each pet is individual and tailor my presence to match their needs. If your pet is in my home I make sure to provide them with a safe space (their own room) and can socialize them at your request (I have a dog and 6 cats)

For dogs- let me know if they’re reactive to other dogs and if they pull. Please also let me know what their feeding schedule is and if there’s specific portions. For cats- let me know what their feeding schedule is like and if it’s strict (I.e your cat will go bananas if he doesn’t get his food by 9:00am SHARP).
A typical day
I can take your pups on leisurely strolls and if they have good recall I can take them to play frisbee or fetch. I’d love to go on a hike with your dog if he’s an active pup! For your cats- I love keeping them entertained if they enjoy playtime. If you have a lazier cat I’m happy to cozy up with them and watch some TV.

Pet care experience
I currently have open availability. Overnight stay price varies depending on your pets needs. The rate listed is for staying the night but full day sitting will be more because I’d be spending 24 hours with your pet. Animals are my life! I work in the animal welfare field (and at a vet hospital). When I’m not hanging out with your cats and dogs, I’m fostering cats and kittens, and saving homeless animals. Most of the proceeds from my Rover gigs go to my passion- animal rescue. I have 6 cats and a dog. I used Rover as a customer before joining to provide services. I’m very cat savvy, and have a very active border collie that I’ve had since she was a puppy. I’m a pro at giving cats their meds, administering subcutaneous fluids and tricking dogs into taking medicine too. I love to hang out with your pets and doing whatever it is they enjoy the most.

Guadalupe accepted a holiday booking on short notice, which I appreciate. That being said, she did not include text updates in the rover card. She only included photos and often reused photos which made me feel like the cats were not getting the best care. Additionally, I was actually home for the first drop in visit and noticed she started the 30 min drop in a few (maybe 5) minutes before she entered the apartment. All visits were exactly 30 min on the dot which again made me wonder if the cats were getting the best care or were not getting the 30 min visit. Finally, I had her scheduled to come twice a day to give breakfast and dinner. I noticed she would come late for breakfast and early for dinner which ultimately increased the time between dinner and next day breakfast by almost two hours. I asked her not to do this and reiterated that the times are there for a reason and after that she was consistent. I would not book her again because I don’t think the cats got the best care.
