Pet care is a consistent part of my weekly routine, and I structure my days so I can be reliable and fully present for the pets I care for. Most of my walks and visits take place during the weekday in the Bay Ho / La Jolla area, and I intentionally keep my schedule organized so each pet gets the attention and time they deserve. When you book with The Daily Wag, you’re not getting a rushed visit — you’re getting dependable, thoughtful care and clear communication every step of the way.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are my top priorities. During walks and visits I use calm, structured leash handling and stay very aware of surroundings, other dogs, and environmental triggers. Because my own dogs are reactive, I’m especially mindful about leash safety and reading dog body language. In clients’ homes, I always respect routines, house rules, and the environment your pet feels most comfortable in. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease while you’re away. The Daily Wag is all about calm leadership, big walk energy, and happy, balanced dogs.

Information Grey V. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a new pet, I like to learn about their routine, personality, and any sensitivities they may have. Things like leash behavior, training cues, feeding schedules, medical needs, or how they interact with other dogs are all helpful. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during our time together. I’m always happy to set up a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone!

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I tailor visits to their personality and energy level. For dogs, that usually means a structured walk with plenty of sniff time, movement, and positive engagement so they can burn energy in a balanced way. Some dogs want to explore the neighborhood, some want a little playtime, and others just want calm company — I’m happy to meet them where they are. My goal with every visit is simple: happy dogs, balanced energy, and owners who feel confident their pet is in good hands.

The Daily Wag 🐾 | Big Walk Energy

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Grey — founder of The Daily Wag, bringing big walk energy and calm, structured care to Bay Ho / La Jolla pups. I’m a lifelong animal lover, rescue foster, and experienced walker who takes pet care seriously (while still keeping it fun). I share my home with two cattle dog rescues (a 9-year-old and a 1-year-old), so I’m very comfortable with high-energy breeds and the importance of structure and consistency. I also regularly foster through Second Chance Rescue in Pacific Beach and have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and sensitivities. Reactive or nervous dog? I truly understand. Because my own dogs are reactive, I’m highly aware of leash safety, environmental triggers, and reading body language. I prioritize calm, structured walks that help your dog feel safe, confident, and balanced. What you can expect from me: 💛 Reliable, on-time care 💛 Clear, consistent communication 💛 TONS of photo + video updates 💛 Respect for your home 💛 Attentive, present handling I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have been dog walking for many years. I’m confident with shy seniors, energetic puppies, and multi-dog households (I grew up with five siblings and 10 pets — chaos truly doesn’t faze me!) I’m active, upbeat, and dependable — the kind of person people lean on and trust. Whether you need regular weekday walks, drop-ins, or help while you’re away, I’d love to meet you and your pup. Let’s set up a meet & greet! 💛
