My Brittany,Bella, & I welcome you.
I grew up with labradors and spaniels all my life and even raised several litters of yellow labs. My Brittany loves to play with good-natured dogs. I can host up to two dogs and up to 60 lbs each. Any dog bigger than that is too much for my own dog and other smaller dogs I host. But, Please, no aggressive dogs. If they bare their teeth, they will need to go home or be caged. No pitbulls or part pitbull. Your dog will receive plenty of attention as I host no more than two dogs at a time. So ear and rump scratches are aplenty here. I have a fenced yard and my own 50 lb. dog for your dog to play with. I also have a closable plastic kennel if your dog needs a quiet respite from activity. I might kennel your dog at night as to prevent potty accidents or night wanderings. There is also a sleeping pad available and a covered couch.

I'm grateful for Gretchen's help this week. Maizy stayed with her for 4 days and enjoyed the playtime with others, as evidenced by the photos. She was happy to see me return but wasn't in a hurry to leave either! She was in good hands!
Gretchen and her assistant (dog) Bella provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment. Gretchen communicated clearly throughout the entire process. It is obvious that she is both experienced and loves her work caring for dogs. Highly recommend Gretchen for either daycare or vacation care.

We have two Doodles that spent a weekend with Gretchen. They had a wonderful time! Her home is welcoming and the large backyard has plenty of space to play. It was a great fit.
Shelby's day with Gretchen was perfect! Because of a previous Meet & Greet experience, Shelby was most excited to see Gretchen and her dog Bella. The dogs got along famously, and Gretchen provided a couple of pictures of the dogs sharing their day together which made me most confident that this was the perfect choice for Shelby! An added bonus was that she lives close to me, so it was most convenient to deliver and pick up my dog. I highly recommend Gretchen who is very conscientious and dedicated to animal care.
Gretchen is a fabulous sitter! We will be leaving Sadie with her again the next time we go out of town.

Schedule
Being retired, I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I do not walk them, however, since they can run in the backyard.

Your dog will enjoy the freedom of playing in a fenced yard and having an energetic playmate in my dog. I like to provide rawhide “chewies”, so let me know if that is okay.
