I have 9 years of experience caring for clients' homes and pets, and a lifetime of experience living with and caring for dogs. I've worked with diabetic cats, dogs with Megaesophagus, and ferrets with attitude, just to name a few. **Dog parents, please let me know if you have a fenced in yard or not**. I'm comfortable caring for animals with unique needs, but you know them best! I will do a quick visit at no cost to meet you and your pet(s) and have you walk me through their care routine. I like to spend quality time with the animals I care for and for extended stays with your animal, we can review my schedule together to find the right plan for appropriate visits throughout the day. I will send you updates/pictures daily while you're away from home.

I want to take care of a clients home like it's my own. To me that means keeping things clean and tidy, and dangerous/off limits items out of reach of your pets. It's important to me to understand your pets' typical routine so I can closely mirror what you do with them each day.

This is the second time we have used Rover and we booked Gretchen both times. We hate leaving our cat Sammy, but knowing Gretchen is taking such loving care of him makes it easier. We’ve already booked her to take care of him the next time we have to be out of town.
We went on a long three week trip, and we were anxious and sad about leaving our cat. I am so grateful that we found Gretchen and booked her to take care of our Sammy! Knowing she was there keeping him company, with daily pictures and updates, made us feel so much better. She helped with the daily things we needed around the house too and took in our packages for us. I highly recommend her!
Gretch was fantastic and did a wonderful job with our little sass ball called Jasmine. Gretchen kept me updated on what shenanigans Ms. Jasmine was getting into. Thankfully, nothing bad at bad, this little kitty is more of an independent spirit that loves to be around a human but then will want her space to plot her plans for world domination. Gretchen was very kind and sent pictures just to check in and overall it was great to not worry about Jasmine while I was away. Highly recommend Gretchen to any other pet parent.
Gretchen has watched my fur babies a few times now and has been hands down one of the best sitters Ive had. Shes very responsive, friendly, sends updates every visit, and gives each of the animals so much love they can't wait for her to come over.
Gretchen was absolutely wonderful watching our two pups while we went on vacation. She visited often and made them feel loved and cared for. She was even flexible with our travel plans getting messed up. Will 100% be asking her to dog sit for us again!

Schedule
I currently work from home, so I have flexibility with my schedule. I carefully limit the amount of clients I work with at one time to ensure I have plenty of time with each pet!
