Hi, I’m Gretchen! I recently moved back to the Sarasota area and currently have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, so your pet will be the center of attention and treated like house royalty. I’ve been caring for animals since I was a teen, offering dog walking, drop-in visits, and full-time sitting. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, including feeding routines, medications, and any special requests. I can’t wait to meet and care for your four-legged family members 🫶🏻 (The only 1 star review was from someone who wasn’t willing to pay!)

Gretchen was absolutely wonderful to my puppers. I was nervous leaving him as he had just had ACL surgery eight weeks ago .He stayed with her for 10 days and was very loved and cared for. Gretchen sent me updates and pictures and was extremely accommodating for drop off and pick up times. I would definitely rebook with Gretchen again!

I needed a sitter while on vacation to be able to make it to Tampa for the night, and Gretchen was so sweet to my pups! She sent me photos throughout the stay and when I picked them up they seemed happy to have been there! I would recommend Gretchen to anyone! Thank you so much for everything!!!
You'd be hard pressed to find a better pet sitter than Gretchen. We left our Jack Russell with Gretchen at her home for 11 days while we travelled for business and vacation. We were always able to get in touch with her and she was excellent about sending us pictures and updates on his day. Gretchen works in a dog-friendly office and our dog even went to work with her. He made good friends with the other office dogs and this gave him an opportunity to play during the day instead of being alone. Gretchen wanted to know all about our dog and his likes and dislikes so that she would be very familiar with his personality. We were able to feel comfortable knowing that our dog was being cared for by a person who really loves animals. We even had a nice note from her in his bag when we picked him up. I would highly recommend Gretchen. I know we'll be using her as our dog sitter again should the need arise. Thanks Gretchen!
“Hurley” and Gretchen became fast friends! Hurley answered the door with a toy and was super excited to see her. Gretchen was a great communicator and super sweet. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She took her on walks and snapped a few pictures for me. Highly recommended!!
