My name is Greg, and I've spent the last eight years as part of a multi-species household. We started with two Yorkshire Terriers — Barkley and his mate Eva — who eventually blessed our family with a child of their own. When my wife Sarah first brought Barkley home, I tried to pretend I was on the fence about it. In reality, it was one of the most exciting days of my life. We've since said goodbye to Barkley and Eva, and now their child, Mutombo, is the resident elder. We've also added Tiger, a two-year-old cat the vet recently called "the healthiest cat on the block" — which I will be quoting at every opportunity. I share all of this because eight years of caring for animals has taught me something I take seriously: the quality of care matters. The food matters. The rhythm matters. The attention matters. When your dog or cat is with me, they're not boarded — they're part of the household. They're treated the way I'd want my own pets treated when I'm away. I pay attention to the small things — appetite, energy, mood, sleep, the way they move through a new space. If something seems off, I'll let you know. If everything's great, I'll send you a photo anyway. We can't wait to meet your loved one(s).
