I love animals, animals love me
I’m a retired Air Force veteran and former VA nursing professional who is very active and passionate about animals. I work from home as an artist, so I’m home the majority of the time and able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, and care. I have animals of my own who are very friendly and well-socialized. My home has a large fenced backyard in a beautiful neighborhood near the Petroglyphs, with plenty of room to play, relax, and explore safely. My pets have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, and we enjoy daily walks and an active lifestyle. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy making pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and part of the family while they’re in my care. I take only one dog at a time in order to give the attention they need to be comfortable, feel safe while away from their home.

We had a great experience! She was very communicative throughout their stay and sent us plenty of pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. Zuko and Bumi looked happy and well cared for, and they were doing great when we picked them up. We felt very comfortable leaving our boys with her and would definitely recommend her!
She was a great sitter for my dog. I’m sure my dog enjoyed staying with her and will be happy to stay with her again. Thank you

Schedule
My schedule allows me to be home the majority of the time, where I spend my days working on art, home projects, and interacting with my animals. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, outdoor time, and supervision in a calm, active environment.

A typical day
Pets in my care are treated like part of the family and are usually right by my side throughout the day. Whether we’re taking walks through the neighborhood or the Petroglyphs, relaxing on the patio, spending time in the yard, listening to music, cooking in the kitchen, or just hanging out at home, I love making pets feel included, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, relaxed environment.

- I also have extensive experience caring for special needs dogs. Over the years, I primarily fostered special needs animals, including dogs that required wheelchairs, medications, injections, manual bladder expression, diapers, mobility assistance, assisted transport, post-surgery aftercare, physical therapy support, and close behavioral observation. I’m very comfortable working with pets that need extra patience, medical care, routine monitoring, or specialized attention, and I understand how important it is to make both pets and owners feel safe, supported, and at ease.
