We love to spoil dogs.
We lost our Sammy on 12/5/24 and we now have a puppy named Bailey. He loves playing with dogs but can be a bit shy around new people. Bailey likes to doggy wrestle, play tug and chase around outside. We feed the dogs twice a day and they get lots of outside time in our big fenced in backyard. My husband Greg loves to get on the floor and play with the dogs or get them to play together. We have experience getting dogs to take their medicine. You are welcome to bring any dog beds or cages that your dog is use to having. We can play fetch with your dog if they like that.

Greg & Sonia have watched my dog Shelby a number of times and for extended periods of time, they do an amazing job with her. I hardly worry about her when I’m gone because I know she is in great hands! They are the first and only sitters I reach out to!
Wasn't dependable. We needed a sitter for our dog and set up a day and time for dropping him off the day we were leaving for our trip. I went there the day and time we scheduled and nobody was home. I knocked several times, sent messages through rover and even called a business of theirs but no response from any of it. I waited around for an hour all while trying to figure out last second plans for someone to take care of our dog. Dependability is something you need with a good sitter and i did bot have this with Greg and Sonia.

Schedule
Since I am a limo driver my schedule varies but the runs tend to be early in the morning and arrivals come in late afternoon to early evening alot. My husband Greg is mostly home during the day but occasionally has to leave for a few hours. I mostly feed the dogs twice a day, First when I get up usually around 9am and second between 5pm-6pm. My husband likes to be outside and is out with the dogs most of the day in the backyard. I am home with them in the evenings and give them plenty of outside time as well.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced in yard. We have added a fence on top of the cement wall that is on the north side of the yard to make sure dogs can no longer get out. We can crate a dog overnight if that is what your dog is use to or if we have problems with them going potty in the house. Young dogs especially from about 8-9 months to about a year and a half need to be crated when left alone because they are teething and can get very destructive.

A typical day
Greg is wonderful and finding different games to play with the dogs from fetch, tug, hide and seek, and doggie wrestling. In hot weather we do have a kiddie pool we put up for the dogs to wet their paws and play in. My husband loves to be outside and the dogs are out with him a lot. I am very generous about letting them out whenever the want it, even it was just 10 minutes ago I let them out. Our dog Bailey helps us entertain the dogs. Once we get to know your dog we might take them to the nice fully fenced in off-leash dog park in West Chicago. We only do this if your dog listens well , get along with other dogs , and we think they will like it.
