Hi! I’m a dependable and caring pet lover with years of unofficial pet sitting experience for friends and family members. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different ages, personalities, and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making them feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I currently have two cats of my own, and I’ve grown up around animals my whole life — including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even bearded dragons! I’m comfortable around a variety of pets and truly love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve been a teacher for the past 5 years, which has made me extremely responsible, patient, communicative, and trustworthy. Managing classrooms, building relationships with families, and caring for students every day has strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, follow routines carefully, and pay attention to individual needs — all skills that translate naturally into caring for pets. As a teacher for the past 5 years, I’m naturally responsible, attentive, and dependable, and I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully, pay close attention to pets’ behavior and routines, and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. I’m also very clean and organized in my own home and respectful of others’ homes. Whether I’m caring for energetic dogs, shy cats, or smaller pets, I aim to create a relaxed environment where they can feel safe and cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with communication and photos so you can feel confident your pets are happy and in good hands.

Schedule
As a teacher, I’m back in school full-time, so my weekday availability is a little more limited than it is during the summer. I’m still happy to house sit anytime and love being able to give pets plenty of attention and companionship while their owners are away! For weekday walks and drop-in visits, I’ll generally need to schedule them for later in the day after school (excluding some school breaks, when I have more flexibility). Saturdays and Sundays are much more open, giving me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and longer visits. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending my free time caring for them, so I’ll always do my best to make sure your pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away!

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, favorite activities, and any behavioral quirks or triggers. It’s also helpful to know how they interact with other animals and people, whether they have any fears or anxieties, and what helps them feel most comfortable when their owners are away. The more I know about your pet’s personality and routine, the better I can provide care that keeps them happy, safe, and stress-free.
