Even though I have asthma, I have really good physical stamina and can walk and play for a while. I'm very timely and will give your pet the utmost attention and care because I've seen firsthand how much proper care can improve their lives. It'd be great if I could know what sort of personality your pet has, and if there's anything you'd prefer in how I interact with your pet. Also, if you need me to bring poop bags or treats, please let me know at least a day before.
A typical day
For walks, I'll match the pace of your dog's personal needs, and will explore new areas like parks. For drop ins, I can play with your pet, whether tug-of-war with a dog or cat wand. I'm also a-ok with just petting or cuddling with lower energy pets. One fun thing I do for my cats for birthdays is I use pate, churu, and dry food to make a little cat cake, so if there's a special occasion I will bust out the gourmet skills!

I've done around 100 hours of volunteering for various animal shelters, including Animal House Shelter here in Huntley. I've done shifts of dog walking, dealing with a few more energetic dogs. I've also done handling and transport for events, so I feel confident with handling dogs that maybe aren't the most well-adjusted or behaved, as well as cleaning up after dogs. I've also done work with cats, at the shelter doing feedings of dry and wet food, cleaning out litter boxes, clipping nails/brushing, and socializing and having done a few cat-sitting gigs for neighbors.

Grayson took wonderful care of our cat, Kitty Kelly, while we were away. He was reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Kitty Kelly was in such good hands. When we came home, Kitty Kelly was happy, relaxed, and very well cared for. We truly appreciate everything Grayson did and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. We would happily have him care for Kitty Kelly again!
Grayson babysit for my dog, Daisy, and was absolutely one of the best sitters I’ve had. He was communicative with me and made me feel safe leaving my dog under his care. His love of animals and his caring spirit really shines when he’s with my dog- she hardly wants to leave at the end! He’s sat Daisy many many times now while I’ve been out on work trips, and has been able to work with her special diet (14 year old Maltese Poodle mix with dietary restrictions) and irregular bathroom breaks. Thanks to Grayson I can go on trips and be well rested knowing Daisy is in good care, and hopefully you all will have the same experience!
