My name is Grant, I'm a writer and creative marketing guy who works remotely, am a huge, season-ticket-holding Cubs fan, gay-friendly, and I absolutely love dogs! I have over 16 years experience caring for my own dogs and I'm one of the best Dog Dads out there! I enjoy dogs more than people sometimes, no offense, LOL, and I've always loved dog walking, pet sitting, reinforcing training techniques as instructed by owners (and teaching my own dogs), and playing with man and woman's best friends! I would love to meet you and your best friend, and I hope to have that opportunity to make your life a little easier by letting me take great care of your little guy or gal! I spend a good 45 minutes with your little lovers, including a walk and playtime, sometimes it’s a full hour—I don’t rush. I am responsible, loving and kind, educated, and will give your dog the best care possible outside of immediate family. For longer "day of" stays, where you may be going out for the day and need me for 8 hours or more of playtime and multiple walks, I will charge minimum wage in Illinois, $15 per hour, so for example an 8-hour day at your home with your pet would be $120.

I'm happy to play with your dog inside or outdoors, in your yard, or drive to the nearest park to get some great exercise and Vitamin D! A happy dog is a tired dog, and my plan would be for the dog to have a full day of fun and exercise! If your dog has a pal or two, or a day care you like to drop your dog off at where he or she has some buddies they like to play with, I'm willing to drop your snuggle bear off for a few hours, etc., to break up the monotony of being at home. Whatever I can do to match your dog's usual routine -- let me know -- and we'll make it happen!

Our dog absolutely loved Grant!
Grant was great with our 10 week old puppy! Casey liked him right away at our Meet & Greet. We're teaching Casey and our friends how to come into the house and not get so excited so that Casey remains calm and on all fours, no jumping up. Grant spent a lot of time playing on the floor with him, distracting him with toys so Casey doesn't bite or chew on clothes. Casey was in great hands!
Grant is a great dog walker! He is truly wonderful with our dog Bowie. Every time he comes by, Bowie is so excited to see him. It’s clear he genuinely cares and has built such a great bond with our dog. He’s also incredibly reliable and always on time, which gives us total peace of mind. Overall, just an amazing dog walker and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!
Grant is very experienced with dogs and he shows a genuine fondness for dogs. Today when it was very cold, after our dog showed he did not to walk further, Grant played with the dog indoors to add to the exercise our dog needed. We appreciated it!
I think it’s super obvious how much Grant cares for the dogs. He goes above and beyond to make sure the fur babies are taken care of. He is very conscientious beforehand to make sure he asks a lot of relevant questions to follow your recommendations as far as care for your dogs. Niko and Beau clearly enjoyed having him, as evidenced in all the happy photos and videos I was sent throughout my whole vacation.
It was great having Grant watch Maisey for the weekend. It was the first time we ever left her with someone other than family and it was fantastic. We really felt comfortable leaving her with Grant ❤️

Tell me more about your pet and how I can tailor my time to make them happy and take the very best care that they are accustomed to! I can walk your dog up to 3 times daily and feed the pet according to your requirements. I am used to cooking for my dog, with a small kibble supplement, so if for example, you would love me to cook up some chicken with vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower, I can do that if you have the budget to accommodate purchase of the ingredients!
