With 12 years of dog training experience, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate care for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and behaviors. I specialize in obedience training for all breeds, and I’m particularly experienced in training pointing dogs for upland bird hunting, as well as training dogs in various other hunting disciplines. In addition to field training, I have worked with protection dogs and understand the skills needed to develop focus, discipline, and responsiveness. I offer dog sitting at my home, dog walking, and custom training sessions tailored to your dog’s individual needs — including behavioral challenges and medical considerations. My property features a fenced yard with connected kennel run that’s safely separated by a privacy fence, plus 75 acres of diverse habitat ideal for training, hunting dog conditioning, and exercise. I’m well-versed in caring for puppies to senior dogs, and I provide patient, reliable, and expert care that helps every dog thrive.

We recently rescued a large breed puppy and needed to go out of town. Viewing candidates in our area Grant seemed like the best guy for the job! He has amazing private fenced areas for dogs he boards, and the wild antics our pup threw Grants way he truthfully handled like a boss. We are excited to have Grant help us with additional training in the near future !

Great experience with this Rover sitter. Communication was excellent the entire time, which I really appreciated. I had to deal with a delayed flight and bad weather, and he was very flexible with the pickup time, which made the situation much less stressful. When I arrived, my dog was already outside and ready to go, so the process was quick and easy. He also sent a couple videos during the stay, and it was clear my dog was happy and he even got to go on a little adventure. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely book with Grant again.
Grant was a lifesaver for me and my puppies! As a busy night shift nurse I was not sleeping during the day so I could give my puppies attention. It all became too much so that’s when I decided to find a puppy daycare for them. I found Grant and he was open to watching them during the day for me so I can get some sleep! My 8month old puppy Cricket is a shy/ nervous girl and my 3 month old puppy Junebug is rambunctious and sassy. They both loved going to daycare and were thoroughly wore out after spending the day playing at Grant’s house!
Grant was absolutely amazing with our dog when we had to leave town suddenly for a death in the family. He responded very quickly and checked to make sure we made it home and if we didn’t to see if we needed him to go back out to let him out. We were very satisfied with his services. I highly recommend him for his care for the dog and his dog knowledge.
I can’t say enough good things about Grant and the work he’s done with my dog, Jett. His training is nothing short of exceptional—extremely detailed, held to a high standard, and thoughtfully structured. What really sets Grant apart is that he doesn’t just train the dog; he trains you as the owner as well. That made all the difference for us. From obedience to pheasant hunting, Grant’s passion for training is obvious in everything he does. He’s patient, intentional, and truly cares about doing things the right way—not cutting corners. The results speak for themselves, and Jett is a completely different dog because of it. With Grant opening his own boarding operation, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend it. I have complete trust in him and would be fully confident leaving Jett in his care. Schedule
I am available any day, any time, for your needs. I offer walking any day and any length. I provide training at both my property or can come to your house. I can also stop over to let your dog out for a quick break. I am available and flexible to best tailor care to you and your dog’s needs.

My property features a fenced yard connected directly to my home, in addition to a kennel run that is connected to the yard but safely separated by a gate and privacy fence. If I am sitting your dog in my home, I have a variety of dog crates and arrangements available within my home to meet your dogs needs. I have my own dogs and can have your dog interact as much or as little (or not at all) with my pack as you’d like to meet your dog’s unique needs. All dogs will be handled with a leash if not in the yard unless we have agreed to specialized training arrangements. I offer training at my property or can come to your home. I also offer dog walking. If you have questions about my services or safety protocols, please inquire.
Pets
A typical day
If not at my home and property, I walk/run my customer’s non-working dogs in public parks, trails, and strip malls. These areas allow high quality exercise coupled with appropriate level of obedience training and distractions. If at my home, I can offer supervised socialization and plenty of exercise, along with plenty of mental stimulation from observing the surrounding area and wildlife just out the window
