Availability
We are a work from home family and our Vizsla is with us most of the time. There is almost always someone at home but if we need to go out it’s usually for 1-4 hours as if more we bring our dog. Before I take multiple day bookings for a first time guest, I request one overnight booking to assess compatibility with our dog. We require all dogs to be healthy when dropped off and if they have recently been sick, we require them to be symptom free for at least 48 hours.

We aim to take no more than one (or two dogs if same family) at a time to ensure we can manage and care for them appropriately. There may,at times ,be a short overlap of multiple dogs at the beginning or end of stays. We have a fenced yard and a sociable gentle Vizsla. We love pets and treat them like family. I cover my sofa’s with plush dog beds so Kody and his guests can relax comfortably. I take Kody for a walk, run or a gentle bike ride daily and he is well socialised at our local dog park once or twice weekly. We hike, snowshoe and ski and do many water sports which Kody loves to join in with. Kody is six so moderate energy now and often just wants to sniff around.

Please provide your pets own food, treats and food bowls, a favourite blanket or toy and their bed. Let me know about any special quirks or needs your dog may have, likes and dislikes etc as we will keep that in mind always. Our preference is social gentle dogs with moderate energy who like to play and/or relax with my gentle Vizsla. Preferable if they are used to dog parks also.
A typical day
I love to walk, run, play and snuggle with my dog Kody and he is almost always beside me. Your dog would be given the same love and attention or the space he/she requires. I follow the needs of each particular dog, as like humans they all have their own personalities. We take a daily walk or run depending on time. I like to bring Kody to a dog park regularly also. This is a 5 Star service as it’s my hobby business. If you want your beloved fur baby cared for like they were at home, you have found the family. Our 4 legged guest is welcomed and cared for like our own dog. I’ve grown up with cats & dogs since childhood. I believe a house becomes a home with a beloved pet or two roaming around. We treat all animals like family and they will be loved and welcomed like our own dog. We offer this service as Kody loves the extra playtime and company while we work. We have a nice yard where they can run and play fetch and Tug or they can lounge around at home. My Vizsla is my constant companion and shadow and loves to meet and play with new doggie friends. He is very gentle playful and happy to share all his toys. He likes to run and play in our securely fenced yard in between his other many activities. Grainne and Patrick are AMAZING. Our dog Mimi stayed with them for about two weeks, and when we picked her up Mimi acted like she was being dragged away from Disneyland. Grainne and Patrick gave Mimi so much exercise, love, and attention. Their well-mannered dog Kody seems to have become Mimi’s best friend. And we received daily updates and photos that helped show us how happy Mimi was while we were away. I think Mimi is counting down the days until we drop her off again. Thank you Grainne and Patrick!

Grainne is amazing!! She took care of our dog when she wasn’t feeling her best and treated her just like her own. We were so grateful that Cinnamon was in her care during this time when we couldn’t be there. She gave us many updates throughout the weekend. Thanks Grainne!
