We have a large kitchen/snug where the dogs will sleep and they are also allowed on the furniture in here. Your dog would be treated just like our own whilst they are here!

Information Graham H. would like to know about your pet

We have our own routine with our dog, but also understand that your dog may be totally different! Please let us know your dog's usual routine, any "definitely nots" and any "oooh yes pleases" and we will always accommodate. We are happy to feed at different times, administer meds and can also walk separately if required.

A typical day

Our day starts with a long walk whatever the weather. If it is a very hot spell we will go out very early to avoid the heat. Our walks are generally out in the countryside and the dogs are free to walk, run or roam around off the lead (or on the lead if requested). We see very few other dogs and there are no other animals on our regular routes (sheep etc..) After a walk and breakfast, our dog usually sleeps whilst I work for the morning. Dogs will have constant access to the enclosed courtyard, kitchen, snug and my office so they can choose where to relax, sleep or play. We usually have a play at lunchtime, maybe with some training, then we can also have a walk later in the afternoon if required. If boarding, our dog sleeps in the kitchen/snug either in his bed or one of the chairs. Your dog would have the same space to choose where to relax. If necessary we can separate dogs if yours has a particular preference or alternative routine.

Dog Day Care or Boarding in the Countryside!

Pet care experience

We have owned dogs between us most of our lives and currently own a lovely big Wirehaired Pointer called Wilf who is full of fun and mischief! We all love meeting and looking after other dogs and have a lot of experience in boarding and sitting dogs for family and Friends. We are looking forward to meeting more dogs and providing a much needed alternative to kennels. Our dog struggled in kennels, and Rover has been a godsend, so hopefully we can provide the same personal service and peace of mind for other owners.

Graham is a super host and Sid gets on great with Graham’s friendly dog Wilf. It’s a lovely location with lots of space to run around. Great communication with Graham as well with plenty of updates. Highly recommended and will book again!

Amber is missing Wilf! Thank you Graham, Amber had a lovely stay with you and so pleased that Amber and Wilf have become besties! The photo's and updates were brilliant, especially as Amber has not had very good previous boarding experiences from so called "local licenced boarders in Seagrave and Seilby in Leicestershire". We will definitely be using you again!!

Repeat booking with Graham and he is great - makes the process very easy and I know Henry in great hands. He has such fun with Wilf as well and comes back a happy and tired pup.

Wow, what can I say? Graham is clearly a very experienced dog owner and is so easy to deal with. He reassured me in advance of my dog's first stay somewhere new and kept me updated during the stay. It's safe to say Fuji had an amazing time and seems to have a new best friend in Graham's dog, Wilf. Highly recommend!
