I recently got married to my husband who is in the army, and found myself with alot of spare time. I would love to spend it with walking dogs and getting to know our new neighbors!

The environment your pets will be introduced to includes dog parks, hiking trails, neighbor hoods that include your own, and State Recreational Centers. To travel, I have a 2020 Ford EcoSport that is smoke free, and includes animal seatbelts to keep your fur-family safe. All outside environments will include access to fresh water, some basic training sessions (sit, stay, fetch, ect.), and a smoke free expirenced handler. Agressive dogs are welcomed here!! I have plenty of experience working with high anxiety dogs and protective dogs, and would love to help!

A typical day
Dogs in my care will enjoy a versitle environment that consist of a multitude of parks, busy sidewalks, kids (depending on the dog), other dogs (depending on the dog), and interactions with new toys. I like to stay near local community parks, but also like to adventure out to some bigger dog parks which may require travel. Owners are allowed to request certain parks and activities based on their comfort level such as swimming, hiking, biking, and running. I enjoy taking active dogs for long hikes to burn some energy, or for less active dogs I like to do water activities to get their muscles working with less stress on their body. All dogs will expirence one on one attention and playtime while under my care.

Growing up on a farm, I learned how to respect and love many animals. By the time I was eight years old, my family and I became the first Silver Lab breeders in Nebraska. That's when I learned how to train, exercise, and look after dogs. Throughout the years, we added cats, horses, cattle, and a donkey; which, only enhanced my expirence. I have worked with groomers, trainers, behavorlist, and vets first-hand throughout my highschool and college days. While I studied animal science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I also was on there equestrian team.

We are SO grateful that we found Gracie. She’s been doing drop-in visits and walks with my dog for several weeks now while I’m at work, and I couldn’t be happier. She always sends the sweetest pictures and updates of their time together, and it brightens my day so much. She is very knowledgeable and great with dogs, and my dog loves her. I feel like I’ve noticed my dog’s anxiety go down now that she has Gracie coming everyday while we’re gone. She is very reliable and responsible, and it gives me so much peace of mind to know that my dog baby is being taken care of while I’m away. Both my dog and I have been having a hard time with the separation now that I’ve returned to work in person from the pandemic, and we’re both so grateful to Gracie for easing that for us.
